Like the title said , im not looking for you guys to tell me what your favorite game is nor what you think is the best game ever . Im also not looking for the worst games or games you hate. I want to know :

What do you think are some average in the middle games ?

Games that will be forgotten in time due to it not being excellent terrible. People tend to remember great games ( like portal ) or terrible games ( like Metroid other M ) . But what games are we going to forget because there is nothing special about them?

Well, Noa, this is really hard. I keep thinking of either good games, or games that I at least enjoyed.

I think I'll go with Vanguard Bandits. It was a tactical game in the same venue of Final Fantasy Tactics, but you piloted giant mechs designed like knights called ATACs. The story followed Bastion, a deposed prince, as he fights to protect the people, find the legendary ATAC of the King, the Ultragunner, and defeat the evil Empire bringing peace to the continent. It also had three paths (one of which had Bastion joining the Empire) and 5 endings, including a bad ending.

Was it good? Not even close. Was it terrible? Well, it was published by Working Designs... I'm calling it an average game if only because I enjoyed it and it's hard to think of games that aren't terrible or incredible.

Mirrors Edge was fabulously average. They made an interesting dynamic control scheme. Then proceeded to couple together with a story acted out with finger puppets alongside a few generic levels then shipped it off, hoping for the best.

Average and completely un-noteworthy is exactly how I would describe Kane & Lynch. It's alright, I can see what they were going for but the game just doesn't do it for me (or anyone else).

CoD: WaW was remarkably average. Like, their was nothing remarkable about it.

Alien vs Predator was not as good as i hoped, let down a bit by the marines campaign but the Predator campaign made up for it. Terminator Salvation, too short, good game play, not enough filling. The Darkness, i'm not too sure why.

Indigo Prophecy. Interesting idea and gameplay...but kinda a stupid story and there's barely any replay value.

My list (Caution: Will probably be controversial to some people)!

Mass Effect
Tales of Vesperia
F.E.A.R.
Fable
Operation Darkness
Vanquish
Tales of Symphonia
Project Snowblind
Metroid Prime
Super Metroid
Assassins Creed
Rogue Trooper
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Overlord
Lost Odyssey
Final Fantasy X

Ta-dah! That is it. That is all the games that I thought were average, from what I can remember anyway. There are probably some I forget, but what the heck, right?

Killzone 2 wasn't necessarily bad, just mediocre, there was really nothing there that held my interest enough to keep playing. Dark Sector was also rather unremarkable, it had one unique and admittedly cool weapon that did little to abate my overall disinterst with the run of the mill over the shoulder shooting, homogenous enemies and cover mechanics.

Back in the days of the Gamecube, i had the king Kong movie tie-in game. Now i was a kid at the time, and didn't really play the gamE, but as i watched my brother play it I got fairly immersed into the game. Now its a movie tie-in game, so it does have its flaws. The controls are kinda weird and the enemies can be annoying, but i say this game did a fairly good job.

Also Mirrors Edge, which i found pretty fun.

Almost every game I've ever played was awesome or terrible! But I'd say Brink was average. It was fun at first but had absolutely no replay value, it was done for me before I'd even completed half the game.
