That whatever we are told to do is false and we can do whatever we want, which is a bit contradictory seeing as the Assassin's had to follow the tenets of the Creed.

never trust information form outside sources. you live outside the law. you can assassinate, you can steal, you can hire prostitutes, you can do anything just (as altieer learned in AC 1 which the quote is actually from) keep it with in reason and do not compromise the brotherhood.
the tenets of the creed are
1-Stay your Blade from the Flesh of the Innocent
2-Do not Draw Attention to Yourself
3-Never Compromise the Brotherhood
You summed it up pretty well.
wrong did you listen to what Al-Tair said to his master??
"I understand now our creed does not commands us to be free but it commands to be wise-Al-Tair"
I haven't played the first game since October 2009 and only briefly read the post which had their entire conversation written out so I must of missed it. My bad.

no, you forget about the fundies

they're like "something is true, nothing is permitted"
I was referring more to the Atlas Shrugged Ayn Rand Republicans.

To go beyond the impossible, and kick reason to the curb! Reality is created by the individual, so it differs for everyone. Thus, no one thing can be true for everyone, so all things must be possible. Or something like that.

Pretty much. Reality is always what we perceive it to be. My definition of reality is very likely different from yours, even if it's very similar in the basics.
