What is this cOLD mOLD on my gOLD pLATE?
You're late to the party, it was about two days ago. But for anyone who wants to know. The birds are acting as a teaser to the upcoming Meet the Medic video, which has been eagerly anticipated for nearly two years.
The first pigeon is a picture of what most likely formally was the Medic's place of medicinal practice. The following picture is a queue room, the other is a doctor's office, most likely used by the Medic himself at some point.
A curious theory is that the Medic left his country originally to escape a certain draft which could reflect on the events of World War II since it wouldn't be odd idea, considering the Medic's possible age(38-55). The current date in Team Fortress 2 is 1967-8ish according to my trivial knowledge. The ruins of the hospital in one of the photos signifies this since it was most likely torn apart by time and war.
My theory on the video...
The Medic was drafted into a war, most likely being World War II, during his early age in the field of medicinal practice due to his expertise in the field. During his time in the field, he came across a familiar patient, possibly named Ivan(The Heavy). He mended Ivan back to health, where they would most likely work together to perform a fake death, as hinted by the "deceased" print on one of the file boxes, as displayed in the teaser photos. With similar ideals in mind, they decided to fake their death and leave their country, where they would most likely be recruited by BLU or RED enterprises.
The video has the possibility of helping the audience to a view of the Medic's pastlife back in his home country, and him most likely revisiting it to reflect upon the past.
Either way, it's going to be sweet. I'm really hoping it's more than at least five minutes long, considering how late Valve is with this.

I've noticed as well that birds have been appearing in all the official Valve maps, and they explode when you shoot them. I'm pretty sure the birds are doves. As we all know, doves are an international symbol of peace, so why would they be on a battlefield? Who normally doesn't fight on a battlefield? A medic. Further, when you click on the doves in the blog, you are taken to images of a destroyed hospital, a waiting room, and a doctor's office. Therefore, VALVe is teasing the release of Meet the Medic.
That's how I got to it. Honestly, I don't want to know what Meet the Medic is going to consist of just yet. I'm just glad they're finally getting around to doing it.

There has been a rumor going around that Meet the Medic was in the making, and sometime in April or March someone who visited valve said it was "around 90% done." However, according to Valve time, that could mean anything. So yes, it is very very possible :3creationis apostate said:

A lot of the pictures have the number 21, so could Meet the Medic come out tomorrow?
