Are there any NPCs in games you just have to kill, no matter what you doing be it being in the middle of a timed mission, being chased by cops or attacked by weresmurfs (I'm aware that just means "man smurf") but you still go out of you way just to take them out.

I just can't help but kill the drug dealers in san andreas, bastards wanna push their junk on my streets hell no. also the pimps in saints row 2 (always en tales an epic brawl)

EVERYONE in the GTA games.

And to some extent the occassional guy in Stalker.

That damned Telvanni bastard in his tower on that secluded island out east in Morrowind. Can't remember the guy's name but he wears Daedric armor and is important to the main plot at some point. Such a douchebag I killed him as soon as I could and still finish the game.

i usually take a drive around the city in the beginning of any sandbox game, just to see the different npcs and then target them, may it be old people, fat people, guys in wife beaters, people showing public affection, guys with ugly haircuts, people wearing yellow, people in sweat suits, and random people that happens to say something when i walk by.

in other games i kill the npcs that are poorly written, mostly the completely goodies or baddies.

EDIT: Also they have ammo and a lot of money, so that is also a reason.

whenever im playing Jak 2 or Jak 3, if i ever see someone riding one of the hoverbike vehicles i ram head-on into them. The result? i am completely unscathed while they swiftly and hilariously turn into a fiery mess.

Whenever I see a pimp in Saint's Row 2, no matter how far away he is and no matter what I'm doing at the time, I have to kill him. Partly it's due to the misogynistic nature of his career choice, partly it's because his fashion sense is dreadful but mostly because I am a being driven by savage desires to inflict pain on people but feel guilty hurting innocents and now that all the other gangs are defeated, the pimps are all that's left.
