I don't mind how my body looks. It's not great, but not horrifying either. Except I'm a little disappointed that that's the best God could do when he was brainstorming male genitalia. How women cope with men's junk is a mystery.

well when i was a kid my dad would walk around the house naked, i was watching R rated movies with sex scenes in them since i was 5, i played football where i had to shower with the team, and i one time had to change into my football gear in front of a a small stadium of people (i still had boxers on luckily for them) so to me nudity isnt much of an issue. i understand being uncomfortable while being naked but on a hot summer day nothing feels better than spending the entire day in your birthday suite

everybody should be comfortable with their body, its the greatest tool you will ever have and the only thing that is guaranteed to stick with you the rest of your life so enjoy it and learn to love it
I feel ya man...i used to wrestle and lets face it...thats pretty naked...and of course after a match the straps went down and id hobble over to the table to sign that i won...so....THEY ALL GOT TO SEE THIS BEAUTIFUL BODY......ahh memories...nothing beats pinning a kid while using no hands and then waving/ winking at the girls at the score table

Well, I admit, when the other girls in the locker room admire my chest while I'm showering, I kind of find it flattering, I mean sometimes they even will pinch me a bit, which always makes me blush. Of course, they like what they see, who wouldn't?

Riiiiight, you were totally just trolling this thread for photo's weren't you?

Good for hot chicks, not so good for me.
I'll freely admit that I'm a bit overweight and paler than a freakin' snowman, plus I have copius amounts of chest hair.
If I was thin and muscular then it would be a symbol of manly virility, but I'm not so it's more of a symbol for fat slob.

Damn, hairy double standard.

My policy on nudity has always been one of "when it's absolutely necessary".
Hopefully though, I'll be able to change that, slim down bulk up, then maybe my policy will change.

One thing that bothers me about the public perception of nudity is that it's automatically equated with sex. Nudity isn't the same as sex, nor is it necessarily sexualised. It's just the natural state of being. Personally, I don't have any problems with seeing other people naked, even people I find unattractive. It's their right not to wear clothes if they don't feel like it.

For myself, I alternate between being ashamed of my body and being reasonably satisfied with it. My measurements generally seem to support the hypothesis that I've got a good shape, but there are days when I just hate how I look and can't bear to see myself in the mirror. Even on my more confident days, I'd feel self-conscious naked.

Even so, if I was assured that nobody was going to be looking at me, I think I'd enjoy spending some time naked every so often. It's nice to sleep naked, for one, and I'd probably do it if it weren't for my godawful circulation. I have real problems with cold, to the extent that my fingers and toes sometimes go numb and blue even when I'm indoors. Nudity isn't really an option for me if I want to be comfortable and keep all my digits.

nudity is an un-necessary taboo, why cant we be comfortable with the human body?
Wanna know why?
UNCOMFORTABLE hornyness (notice how uncomfortable)
thats what im saying! if we were used to nudity, nudity wouldnt make us horny and we could control it more, horney-ness would be the result of actual interaction with a "lover"

About nudity in general, I heavily favour it.

About my own, I'm really not affected either way. I'm in pretty good shape, but not good enough to be vain about it, and good enough that I don't feel bad.

I look after my body, im not exactly 'buff' or a 'tank' but I like the way it is =)
Im perfectly happy with others seeing my body fully nude, its my hair I freakout with (VAIN I KNOW)

And others being naked I dont really mind either, boy or girl. Although having an extra appendage that has a mind of its own, im not sure I'd be able to avoid embarasment around the opposite sex =/

I dont apply nudity with sex, at all in fact, but because of being brought up in a 'nude is taboo' home I guess habit shows its face for a few minutes no matter how bad I want to change that =(

Depends on who it is.

Angelina Jolie? Hell yes.

John C. Reilly? God no.

Myself? While gross, it is my own body and I'm comfortable with it (though I do plan on losing some weight later on).
Angelina Jolie? God no

It'll be like looking at a skeleton with water balloons tied to its ribcage D:

But, I think that there's no need tostrip unless there's a completely logical explaination to do so (sex, etc.) but yeah, Pants rule!

On a modesty level, as long as my crotch is covered, I wouldn't care if I walked around without clothes.
The big problem is that I hate being cold, and clothes kind of are good at preventing that.
Edit: Oh, and pockets. I love pockets. Clothes have pockets.

Heh, well I'm ripped. So topless is sweet. I dunno though I kinda like pants. I shower at the gym (I feel dirty if I've been sweating at the gym then take the train home before showering, or drive home before showering, etc.) so it doesn't really bother me.

Personally, I'm fine with being naked. If it was legal and the weather was always warm, I'd probably never put on a pair of pants again.

I can take my shirt off without women running away in terror or laughing hysterically---I don't think I'm all that good looking, but I'm good enough looking not to have major body issues. I consider myself very fortunate for this fact, and I'm quite comfortable being naked, whether it's sleeping alone or...something a bit more social in a private sort of way.

And I tend to expect a similar level of comfort from any girl who's naked with me, which is why I hate Hollywood and the fashion industry. Thanks for screwing up beautiful women by convincing them they're fat, assholes.

I've got about as little body-modesty as it's probably possible to have, without living in a nudist colony or repeatedly being arrested for public indecency. I'm completely unconcerned about anyone else seeing me nude, although I do try to avoid the possibility of children doing so, simply so there's no awkward conversations.

For me Personally Im some what horrified and by the sight of my self when Im unclothed and I quite hate the way I look in that state and as such when I need to wash up and I do my best to avoid standing infront of a mirror
If it weren't for the lapses in grammar and spelling, I totally could have written this. Well, except for the horrified by my naked self "in general" aspect, I don't have any particular problem looking at myself when I'm naked, I just avoid looking at my reflection.

The reason behind that is the extreme revulsion I experience when subjected to full-frontal male nudity, and the mental disconnect between my reflected image and my own natural perspective - I know I'm looking at "me", but my brain says "Aieee, naked dude, avert your eyes!" and so I do, because that is quite possibly the last thing in existence I ever want to see. So I invariably put pants on before standing in front of a mirror when I'm in the bathroom to avoid that whole scenario.

kind of embarrasing, but at the same time rather liberating. If it is with someone who you are comfortable with it is great. All in all, nudity is pretty cool, just so long as teh temprature is alright.

well being thin and relatively in shape (dancing will do that) i'd say i'm really comfortable with myself

I'd be nude constantly if the rules of our society permitted it
