Meeeeeeh, it doesn't really work.

The power of Nyan cat is in it's catchy tune and repetition.

The space core's monologue, while hilarious, isn't really catchy. At least not in the same way as the Nyan cat.

They should have just had nyan cat going through one portal and coming out the other one in infinite loop like this
