Everyone's a fanboy/girl about something. Some are just a bit more subdued. The ones that are really out there about it are the ones that get annoying fast. Ex: Rabid Twilight fangirls.

I'm a fanboy of many things, but not a rabid one; just adore certain games to an extent that any criticism thrown at it better be damn good. Proud fan of:

Yea...Dragon Age I wouldn't consider to be the best game to base Biowares reputation on. I have not played much of them myself, working on Jade Empire (pretty good so far), finished both Mass Effect games (2 has redeemed my faith in the series) and KOTOR on standby. Dragon Age stank of generic through and through which put me off from the game really fast. If you want a better opinion on them I suggest playing any of the ones I've listed, they are decent games, even if the choice stuff is all meaningless bullshit in the end to fool the player.s69-5 said:

It was just an example I used of games that people are derogatory about because it has fanboys. The game itself isn't particularly bad, but I feel people treat it harshly because it has a lot of fanboys who also happen to be idiots, and the idiot fanboys appear to be more common-place than the fanboys who have a lick of sense.ultrachicken said:
