"Yesterday the Polish Government, a bunch of no good lousy bums, took another far-reaching step in their persecution of their own people" - Reagan

Again during a sound check (but it's still my personal favorite presidential quote). Honestly though? This might be the first thing that Obama has said that I can get behind 100%.

I would also like to say that I do NOT agree with liberal pundits, and the president demeaning a black man in a public forum does NOT make him a racist. Thank you.

Sorry for the double post but... do you mean rapper or do you mean raper (as in an inproper form of rapist maybe?). I'm not really up on rap culture... could they both be true?

I would appreciate your cooperation in helping to solve this mystery.

I don't think he's a jack ass, more so that he has Head Up His Own Arse syndrome, and doesn't think before he does something.

It was a funny comment from Obama though.

Wow, President Obama said something that everyone else was thinking/already said. What a shocker.

p.s. Kanye can suck a fat one for being such a douche. I don't even like taylor swift, but I know that isn't what you do to someone when they've won their first major award.

P.S.S. Kanye appeared on the first episode of Jay Leno's new show. He tried to explain himself, he failed. Further proof that the man does not think.

As much as I think that at least half of our politicians are stupid morons that take too much money for doing too little or too badly, what exactly did they do? It wasn't that far-reaching if me, my parents or anyone at school didn't hear about it.

Also - Obama is beaten only by Sarkozy right now as the best politician evur.

I just hope that Obama isn't forced into some kind of halfass apology. I want a president to simply have the balls to say: "Yea I said it, so? Next question."

I believe that Kanye is racist. It is hilarious to me that the man that Kanye most likely voted for called him a jackass. I believe he is a douche and Taylor Swift should team up with T-Pain and Lonely Island or someone to shut Kanye down

Ouch. For someone to call you a jackass must hurt, but for the damn president of America to call you one?

I'd just curl up in a weep for a few days.

"Kanye West is a jackass, anyway back onto taking more power and making a hideously ineffective health care plan that I will constantly fap over."
-Obama

Why is this news? Who honestly cares that Kanye dissed some redneck country singer? Good for 'im, I say. But since Obama made a statement about it, rather than.....say....NORMAN BORLAUG, THE GREATEST HUMANITARIAN TO EVER LIVE DYING ABOUT 4 DAYS AGO....it makes it news worthy?

He's right, Kanye West is a jackass; but I'm reminded of the Cambridge Police comment he made, once again he's commenting on things that a President has no business commenting on. A public figure shouldn't be insulting someone within a thousand feet of a recording device, everyone knows that.
I knew I'd find a comment like this at some point. What's wrong with the President making a human-like comment? He's allowed to speak like that, it makes him seem more human, more connected to the citizens of the world. I like what this guy said:

I think it's good that the presidentsaid that out loud. It's good to see a president who will tell someone they are an asshole if infact they are an asshole.

I just find it funny how the gay fish thing is really sticking. I have been on other forums and that appears to be his nickname now. I can't wait till some reporter or President let's that slip.

The Southpark episode has it right. Kanye just doesn't get it.

If Bush said this, CNN would be all over his ass in an instant saying horrible things about him.

Although, Obama does have a point.

Your President watches MTV.

I don't see how this is something to celebrate...
Our President also has children. They most likely wanted to watch it so they watched it together as a family.
Your President lets his children watch MTV... While also complaining that kids aren't active enough...
So they have to be active all the time all day? The MTV awards came on at 8 or 9pm....
