I have to agree with Obama here. You shouldn't let videogames consume good portion of your day, otherwise the word "game" just loses its meaning.

Admittedly, I didn't read this article. I didn't have time when I originally saw this thread. Had to go to work. Amazingly, I stayed employed despite everything that has happened. By the time I did get home I had long since forgotten about it. I'm mostly going from what I have read. And the vast majority of it was "turn off the games" type of comments.BiscuitTrouser said:Saltyk said:I don't think I've ever heard an actual positive remark towards games from him. He may not be anti-games like say a certain disbarred Florida attorney is, but I don't think he sees them in a positive light, either. However, he can see some upsides to gaming, too. Ten months ago he publicly applauded a scheme created to help US children forge a career in video games design.
This is why Obama wants you to do more READING. This is the last two lines of the article you apparently just read. Go figure.
Please, in the future, don't quote me in a way to make me look entirely ignorant.Saltyk said:I've noticed that he has a tendency to use games as a whipping boy. He makes a fair point though
I just hope he doesn't become anti games
In the long run, I couldn't care less about what he thinks on games and the like as long as he doesn't do anything to hurt the industry. But I feel that way about a lot of other issues, too.
