The first time? It still fills me with awe. Oblivion is an awesome game, and I wish Bethesda would get around to making TESV.V TheSystem V said:Sure, the facial animations weren't up to scratch and it aged badly, but you have to admit the first time you ever saw Cyrodiil it filled you with awe.
I'll admit something - I still am. The people look like arse and the animations are... Awful, but damn the environments are still beautiful, even with blocky people having conversations with themselves all round...V TheSystem V said:I remember when it was released, it was one of the greatest games people had ever seen. The freedom that you had, and the various characters you saw on your travels. The combat in Oblivion is much smoother than in Morrowind though...More Fun To Compute said:Oblivion is as old and outdated now as Morrowind was when Oblivion was released. Except that Morrowind is still the better game.
The best moment of Oblivion on the 360 for me was when I found out that some speed up spell worked on horses. I loaded the horse up so with so much go fast juice that the terrain flew by. I got the loading message every few seconds then after while the console crashed.
I agree, i found oblivion to be amazingly fun but i would love more sidequests and a longer more developed side quest chain. Also mount and blade combat controls. This in oblivion would be SWEEEET.PurpleLeafRave said:Yeah, I've accumulated 400 hours on it over those 4 years.
It takes more time to craft an RPG than an action story. I'd rather they filled TESV with more side quests than bring it out earlier.

To explain for those who dont own the best medieval RTS ever when you click left your character does a left swing or for right click does a left block. Up is a downward chop, down is a stab, and left is a left slash. I found this to be very involving and used far more strategy than just clicking like crazy. Trust me when you play it you will see how epic it is.
Haha, yeah, I did everything but. Everything but the story just seemed so much more fun.HippySecond said:One day I'll get to finishing the story of this game![]()
Yeah, maybe, but I got bored of combat in Oblivion pretty quickly and ran past most combat with chameleon and invisibility. It's not really a big part of the game for me.Malyc said:The combat in Oblivion is much smoother than in Morrowind though...
haha same man. It still stole hundreds of hours of my life though(not as many as Morrowind mind) but Bethesda better make TESV good, the second they announce it the hype will go MENTAL.Exterminas said:I still remember how exicted i was, when it first came out, and how disapointed I was when i comparred it to morrowind :/
But but but... Chameleon gives you a BETTER excuse to get into combat...More Fun To Compute said:Yeah, maybe, but I got bored of combat in Oblivion pretty quickly and ran past most combat with chameleon and invisibility.
