Oblivion GOTY edition glitch help

ok, I just installed Oblivion and when I just started playing my character would walk to the right with no reason whatsoever.I've come across this before in other games but I just reloaded a save and it fixed it but it won't work now.
any help is appreciated
by the way I'm on PC

If it happens with more than just one game then you should check your keyboard!
My old keyboard letter 'W' used to stick down because I used it so much!

Try re-mapping the controls. And then swapping them back to default.

The exact same thing happened to me, and this-

Try re-mapping the controls. And then swapping them back to default.

Sounds like a keyboard malfunction. Switch the binds on your keyboard and see if that works.

do you have a controller plugged in too? what used to happen to me was the 360 controller was broken so always moved right. Unplugged, no issue

Some games take offense like that when you have a controller plugged in as well.

Otherwise I get that key-stuck-even-though-it-isn't -scenario very randomly in some games. It goes away soon within a few seconds, pressing the button that is supposedly stuck or moving to the other direction.
