I know most of us have played oblivion, and the people that have most likely loved it (I know I did) just want to know, whats your favorite type of character to make?

Heres some guidlines:
1. Race
2. Main Style (like sleathy, or wizard)
3. Playing style (are you a saint out to save the world? Or do you like the murder?)

For me, its personally:
1. Argonian
2. Stealthy (mostly marksmanship, sneaking around)
3. I tend to murder some of the civilians, breaking into their houses at night and stealing is always fun too, no?

Go ahead and use different type of guidlines or what not, thats just giving you an idea

Kahjiit thief. I usually try not to murder innocents, but if they're between me and the door...

1. Argonian
2. Fast agile acrobat who combines alchemy, swordsmanship and magic
3. A friendly, noble valiant warrior who just has a lot of strange quirky habits.

I'm usually:
Nord/Imperial
Giant heavy armoured close combat tank.
I'm pretty saintly.

Also good to see some people still care about Oblivion.

1. Breton
2. Everything. Stealth until I get caught, then battlemage.
3. I'll do things that benefit me, whichever alignment that associates with. though if the opportunity ever arises to be a selfish asshole I'm so pleased. the "fingers of the mountain" quest for example lead me to play both sides until I got the powerful spell as a reward for one side, and used it to kill the woman who told me how to get it in order to get the item back to give to the other character who wanted it. Those opportunities always fill me with a sense of accomplishment.

Yeah I like scheming the rewards of both sides of a quest...and then killing all the participants.

My character Vladimir, max level, as close to 100% completion as I'm willing to go:

1. Bosmer
2. Custom stealth class, marksmanship-heavy. Shortsword kept on person for when things get close.
3. Played 100% good until finishing the main quest and Knights of the Nine content, did Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, then did a wayshrine tour to get 0 Infamy back.

I basically played as a holy crusader (i actually named my custom class crusader)and I would do all the good things i could

seems like a boring way to play but I tried to play as an stealthy character and it just didn't suit me

I pretty much always do the right thing with quests, in video games in general basically when theres an option, I normally pick the good ones, but when it comes time to dicking around, sometimes a few murders here and there. My personal favorite guilds however are the theives and the dark brother hood lol...so it kinda clashes with each other, I just have a thing for dark, stealthy assassin kinda thing.

If I ever happen to play it, I usually turn out as:
[ol][li]A Breton or high elf or something,[/li]
[li]Always a custom class, which I shall call a 'Kleptomancer' from now on.[/li]
[li]Short summary of what a kleptomancer does: First he picks your pockets, then he steals your pants. After that, he lights you (and the bit of alley you are in) on fire from a few blocks away, using some powerful AoE fireball.[/li][/ol]
I usually abandon the game, though. Sure, there's a lot of freedom, but the magic feels like a last-minute addition, the characters are too hollow, and I just find the in-game world and the lore around it too damn boring. (And you really have to screw up horribly for me to think that.)

One thing I like about Oblivion is the moral choice system is so open. In a lot of games it seems like your supposed to be good. The Force Unleashed and Mass Effect seemed to fall together so much beter as a good guy.

I modded Oblivion a bit too much, only the melee combat and casting was unchanged.

1 - Cat girl [http://pnmedia.gamespy.com/planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/images/userreview/oblivionraces/screenshot1.png]
2 - Thief [http://home.comcast.net/~scruggsyw/Thieves_Arsenal.htm]
3 - I just did the jobs from #2, never actually killing anyone.
