I recently played through Mass Effect 2 again, or I tried to. I was playing a mission and during one of the renegade interupts Shepard just disappeared for it.
It pissed me off too because that one was a cool interupt to watch. I tried to reload the save and it still happened.

The game continued on but that glitch completely threw the immersion out the window and totally ruined what was an otherwise enjoyable playthrough.

So let's hear 'em, what are some obnoxious glitches that don't break the game but still piss you off?

Fly, oh fearsome Deathclaw fly
Like Repcomm rockets you take to the sky...
I scramble and panic and look all around
Awaiting the moment you fall to the ground...

Mine's gonna have to be on Mass Effect 2 as well, though I believe this was fixed a while ago, it still hit me.

Casually walking towards the bar on the Citadel, up the stairs, then bam, I'm somehow stuck on top of handhold bar, half of my body in the wall, Shepard spinning around like a lunatic with me rendered entirely unable to move him and all immersion thrown out of the window.

Not exactly game breaking because I just reloaded the save and carried straight on, but fuck, did that ever piss me off.

In Dragon Age, people keep talking to my character's shoes or my characters talks to other people's shoes. It's hilarious.

In Fallout NV I kept seeing the inside of my character's skull.

In NWN 2, everytime I have Okku in the party, the screen was crowded and those who did the talking couldn't fit. Same thing with G0-T0 from KotOR 2.

In Beyond Divinity my inventory items were all messed up so that my shoes were in the hat's place, the weapons as shin protectors and gloves and with sandals in the weapon slot.

Were you a dwarf? 'Cause then it's kind of understandable.

Sadly, no. I was an elf. After a couple of cutscenes with that (not all of them had that glitch) I had started to agree with Leliana. Ferelden shoes are very ugly.

Edit: Oh and in Mass Effect the "Charge" attack made me get stuck in all the weird places (ceiling, mid-air...)

Fallout New Vegas: Old Lady Gibson fell from the sky and attacked me with her dogs. Also sometimes when I zoom in my character's lower half rises and I'm aiming between my own legs.

But they're comfortable and durable, which is exactly the same thing I say to her when we have this conversation.

Something similar happened to me when Samara
busts into the apartment to confront her daughter
the sound completely cut out for the entire scene. I replayed it but it happened again, finally I had to youtube it.

Also, Fallout 3 there was a part in Megaton where you would approach someone in a bar and it crashed every single time. I tried patching to no avail so I just gave up on the game (I was borrowing from a friend anyway).

Edit: Oh wait you said harmless, ehhh I guess you can skip this post then haha.

After staring at nothing but ugly shoes for so many conversations, comfortable and durable just don't cut it anymore. I needed ribbons. But that damn Leliana didn't want to share....I really should have kicked her out of the party when I had the chance but she really scared me.

She ninja romanced me and was one conversation away from confessing or whatever. I saved compulsively as I lived in fear of accidently clicking on her.

In retrospect, I should have walked barefoot...

You should see what happens when your Companions' animations fail. They rocket across the ground as if on rollerskates, and can kill people by staring at them. Also becomes pretty hilarious when you have Boone, equipped with an Anti-Materiel Rifle with incedinary rounds. Legionares spontaneously combust whenever he slides within 500 meters of him.
I've seen some funny ones like that.

The hookers moving along invisible conveyor belts while still in a sexy dance animation cracks me up :D

At some point in ME2 (on the misty planet where you need the beacons to guide you) I was suddenly walking on the invisible walls between paths. I was about 10 metres up in the air, and could only walk above areas where I could normally not walk. After some time, though, I managed to get back down.

Another one, almost all the time in Spore:
Frelling narrow valleys. Lots of planets are covered in what looks like stitches from above, and you can fall into them. If you have a jump/glide attachment, you may be able to get out again, of not, you can only restart the game.
Unfortunately, most plot-relevant charakters that you have to escort in Galactic Adventures are unable to jump or glide.

Dragon Age Awakening. My character gained the uber mage armour spell so be turned invisable.
It also gave him the power of a translucent head. It meant I could see his character-animation skeleton, particular during conversations.
It also caused my FPS to drop significantly when the camera paned to him staring at the npc's shoes.

In Dragon Age Awakening I imported a character who wore a DLC armor. He started the game naked.

There ya go! He was barefoot, seems like one of your problems was solved.

Yeah, that happens. Although in my case he was only naked when I chose him to upload and got his armour back when I started the actual game.

The other problem was that the his underwear made me uncomfortable. And that after that fight I couldn't put armor on until I entered the Keep. Made me suspicious of Mhairi's intentions and "admiration".

Oh no, he continued to be naked until I finally had time to slap an armor on him. The darkspawn should have at least been given a -2 on morale because I bet being attacked by a naked man is a rather large insult.

Another mention for Mass Effect 2, sometimes subtitles would appear before the dialouge lines were spoken.

I recall a glitch (now patched) with the Killzone 2 multiplayer where jumping would restore your run evergy to full.

EDIT: Is it me or have 80% of the posts on this thread so far been about Bioware games?

One time in WoW, back in WotLK I logged into Dalaran(a floating city), and fell through it, and then the ground underneath. The weird part was that I saw all the other people in Dal falling as well. But after I logged off and back on, everything was fine, aside from having to use a spirit healer as my corpse was in the ceter of Azeroth.
