Obscure and old games you'd like to see get an HD re-release

Others titles I'd like to see include Mother 1 (with an updated battle system), Sonic 2 through Knuckles in one massive story, the way it was meant to be played, and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Game (the SNES version).

Oh, and Final Fantasy 7, I suppose. Something has to sell the Vita, right?

Homeworld. Just. Homeworld. That game still looks as impressive as hell. Literally just do up the graphics. Dont touch the music, or the voice acting or the missions. Dont fuck with the atmosphere of the game, just do up the ships and the graphics.

Seriously though, I probably wouldn't mind seeing Tomba or Klonoa being re-released. Although the latter had a Wii remake, so I guess it's kind of doubtful there will be a re-release of it anytime soon.

Not to sound like a broken record but can I please get an HD remake of Panzer Dragoon Saga? A sequel would be better.

The System Shock games didn't sell too well, and, now that BioShock is popular, I think it would be nice to get a re-release, especcially for us stupid console gamers who aren't a part of the PC gaming master race.

With new HD Classics range on PS3 becoming more and more prelavent, and Virtual Console/Xbox Originals having been around for a while now, the last generation's best games are getting plenty of time to be re-appraised and get a bit more attention than they did originally- see the Team ICO collection.

What games would you like to see in the nextHD rerelease? For me, either War of the Monsters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_the_Monsters), my favourite beat-em'-up for the PSDouble, or SSX Tricky, undeniably the best game in a series that I hope won't shit itself with it's next release.

Exactly this. The game is still absolutely amazing, but some graphical updates might work miracles. I want it.

I second the desire to have a HD re-release of War of the Monsters.
Also i would like to see how the JRPG "Musashi: Samurai Legend" for PS2 would work in HD mainly because it's done in a cell-shade Manga art style.

I would hate to see anything pre-32-bit in HD. It would lose all it's 16-bit/8-bit charm. But from the 64bit era - Panzer Dragoon (just the first one, the others are good as they are) and Rogue Squadron.

First choices would definitely be Rule of Rose and Haunting Ground.
They both actually had quite beautiful graphics (HG more so than RoR) considering they were PS2 games.
I would kill to see a Rule of Rose remake or even movie adaptation. The broken combat killed me (multiple times).

On kind of another note, I'd love to see another Silent Hill reinterpreted in the style of SH: Shattered Memories. I really enjoyed SH:SM and, if more horror was added, a reimagination of SH2 in a similar style would be really cool.

It would finally complete the HD Compilation of the legendary platformer trio from the PS2 era

I don't think they'll be able to fit all of the R&C games onto one disk. Maybe the first three, but you get the idea.

If I were to mention one obscure title, I'm going to go with Beyond Oasis for the Sega Genesis. I loved that game back in the day, and a remastering is feasable.

Might as well put out Road Rash 1-3 while I'm mentioning the good ol' days. Now there was some fantastic gameplay. Takin' my crowbar to other riders' necks right before getting mowed down by incoming traffic, and then getting up like it was nothing (until my bike explodes).
