You want weird German Industrial? Check this shit. It will kick your ass. xD

Wow....

How have I not heard of this before? Not as organic sounding as EN, but really, really fucking good.

Must download now.
I must admit I don't know many of their songs because that's not really my preferred genre of music, but this one is just awesome.

Another one of their songs I enjoy a lot is 'Blutorgel':

Autechre - Dropp [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWGUnrIiOoI]

And I can't stop listening to this song:
The Flaming Lips - You've got to hold on [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJKTS1HHIG8]
Autechre is excellent.
Here's some obscure metal. It's a take on the soundtrack for the film Experiment in Terror.

Is that with or without Dave Lombardo? (Only thing I know about the band)
I believe is it with. It's Mike Patton on vocals, Trevor Dunn on bass, Buzz Osbourne on guitar and Dave on drums. That album is awesome by the way.

'Bout time I met another fan!

And here is the epitome of amazingness known as Boards of Canada:
(If you don't like the intro at least skip to 1:40, that's when the song gets going.

Finally! I figured out how to embed! HA.
I know Boards of Canada aswell. They have some damn good songs.

Ahhhh, I love this, it's been in my favourites for a while. Anyway, here's my choices. Anything from this guy. Indie folk FTW:

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=1E055B398A7DF2DF

And here's a couple of his songs as a taster:

Also, anything from these:

And finally, this:

In fact, just listen to any of the songs from the Garden State soundtrack, listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garden_State_(soundtrack)

And while you're at it, watch the film. It's amazing :D
Iron & Wine is one of my faves, plus Sam Beam is a SC native. We don't get many public figures to be proud of. Example: Joe Wilson (the "You lie!!" guy) is a representative of my city, Charleston.

Obscure? I'll go ahead and plug my friends and relatives... if that's okay with everyone xP

Icelandic hardcorepunk-turned-whatever band Mínus, one of their most widely known songs "The Long Face" off the album "Halldór Laxness"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHT_NNx7XVw
myspace : http://www.myspace.com/minus

Icelandic rap band (and when it suited them; nü-metal(whatever that is)) Quarashi and their BY FAR most famous song "Stick'em up" originally off the album "Xeneizes"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9aJLP_Ws_Y
myspace : http://www.myspace.com/quarashimusic

Icelandic rockband Vicky (originally Vicky Pollard), the song is "Blizzard", one of my least favourite songs by the band, but it's the first youtube hit that isn't a live recording, so... yeah

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybOn9O3-Z4M
myspace : http://www.myspace.com/vickytheband

Icelandic blackmetal band "Myrk", sadly they're no longer active.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ92eQFytHA
myspace : http://www.myspace.com/myrkofficial

Icelandic metalcore band Wistaria, sorry, it's a live recording by some guy on his cellphone so the quality is shit =/

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAZnVZSF054
myspace : http://www.myspace.com/wistariatheband

The band "Bob" have been called the Sonic Youth of Iceland lately, sadly the only youtube link I found was... uh... this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfsGggT_uV4
myspace : http://www.myspace.com/bobisnow

I would plug my old band... but some 'tard erased all the songs except for a very old home demo - and I'm still listed as the drummer, heh =S
