Hey all, I'm debating about getting an ocarina. Hopefully, a transverse (sweet potato) ocarina .Does anyone know where the best place in the UK is to get one?

Thanks all.

Thanks, but I already checked that site and it doesn't have the type I'm looking for.

Also, I used Info.com, Meta-Engine. Sometimes it misses things.

Just go into any local music shop and ask if they have one, that's what I did.

Also consider sites like Ebay, wherein you might find enthusiasts that specialise in creating these sorts of instruments. Lots of people have lots of time on their hands. On another note, here is a particularly frightening example I have received from Peru:

(Mind you, this is only the back of the Ocarina. Yet it still makes me cry at night.)

Edit: Now that I've thought about it some more, if you get really desperate, you might consider google-imaging Ocarina (or a particular subset it sounds like) and following the URLs back to where they originate. Sometimes, just sometimes, you can be lucky enough to follow them straight back to a store.
