"bat shit insane-o super fun club" is not disproving the video. Here's how to disprove the video: take some of the crucial evidence presented in it and prove it to be wrong. You havn't done that, so go away.

And you can go ahead and keep your head down like a good little tool, if someone has gone out of their way to explain what's going on in the world, I'll at least give them a chance and the guy in this video provides plenty of evidence to back up his claim. Pretty obvious once you think of it really.
Ok I'm bored so I will take a break from Angry Birds to explain why this crazy man is wrong. . . . besides the fact he's very likely certifiable. Let's get down the brass tacks and look at what this fella is claiming.

* He may as well be putting up pictures of Muppets next to the people he's pointing out because the people he's claiming the Occupy Wall Street people really are look nothing at all alike. There are a few that have a small resemblance but nobody with an ounce of sense would ever buy that these people are who he says they are. Go look at the video.

* He's saying Jerad Lee fucking Loughner, the fella that went and shot up all those people in Arizona, is some head honcho for a media company named Brandon Lee Pittman that's behind the whole Occupy Wall Street Movement. Oh, also, he's there in New York shooting video of the Occupy Wall Street events Let that sink in for a minute. HE THINKS JERROD LEE LOUGHNER IS IN NEW YOUR SHOOTING FOOTAGE OF THE PROTESTORS.

* He's claiming that both the police and the Occupy Wall Street protesters are all just actors playing roles to dupe over the unsuspecting American public.

* He's claiming that the cops at the Brooklyn Bridge incident a few weeks back were not actually cops at all and were just actors. Really? Really?

* He's claiming that the actors playing the protestors and cops are using random chalk marks placed around the city to help coordinate the Occupy Wall Street farce.

* He's claiming that companies, he mentions Apple specifically, are paying for product placement during the Occupy Wall Street protests.

* He's claiming that the shooting in Arizona where Congresswoman Giffords was shot and wounded was all staged and never actually happened and it was all just some drill using actors and nobody was actually hurt.

That's just what I got doing some quick skimming through this one video. These are not the beliefs of a sound minded person. Sure I could go through and take these apart point by point but when people are claiming things like the fella in that video that are so out in left field you just need need to call it craziness and move on.

I could say my dog is an exiled alien ruler hiding from intergalactic assassins by posing as a common Earth dog and if I believed that and you wanted to dispute this absurd claim you could point out the fine details and explain bit by bit why it's total nonsense or you could just pat me on the head and say "It's ok fella, we are going to take you somewhere that will get you the help you need". I'm choosing to deal with the whack-a-do bugger that made the video the latter way.

I guess your hidden spy cameras didn't tell you that I tend to see insulting posts as null.
And I guess it makes me a no life when I spend the majority of my summer (where it's 115F outside) on the Internet aside from helping my ailing grandmother (Whom, I might ad, lived through the Great Depression on an average of five cents a day). I've also been to counselling with my elder brother because of his PTSD from Afghanistan. Spending a great deal of time around these two, have taught me a great deal of things about how bad the world can get.

These OWS people have NO idea how bad it can actually get; and therefore, need to shut their traps and be glad that they live where they live, and not somewhere like North Korea or Saudi Arabia where parts of the population are oppressed or kept poor.

Just because you look at someone's profile for a minute or two, doesn't give you the right to judge them.
Do you always reply to "null" posts?

Did I say you've never heard anecdotes about how bad the world can get? No. I said you had no perspective. You yourself have not had to live real life. And your later statement ("These OWS people have NO idea how bad it can actually get") confirms this.

How do you know they have no idea? Have you talked to all of them or are you just making a broad, sweeping statement based on an assumption? I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the latter is correct. Did you know that there are veterans and seniors in the OWS group? Maybe you just weren't paying attention...?

And while we're on the subject of you not knowing things:
1. North Korea - mainly poor due to the severe sanctions placed upon it by *gasp* OUR COUNTRY and our allies - not because of its government.
2. Saudi Arabia - while it does have a rather oppressive government, it's actually moderately wealthy and modern.

See, this is what happens when you don't have any perspective: you spout nonsense you've absorbed from what you've seen on Fox and CNN. It wasn't your profile that demonstrated it to me, either. It was every word you said.

"and therefore, need to shut their traps"

First Amendment anyone? How very American of you. Please, illustrate my point further...

...and no, I don't care if I get warned again for this. I'm calling this guy out on his BS and that's that. He's passing judgement on huge swathes of people based on ignorance and personal bias... and *I'm* the one who gets warned.

That's a moped, not a motorcycle ;)

Should've used a good ol' 900lb Harley, there'd be no mistake about whether or not the guy's leg got run over then :p
At a glance, that's a Honda SH-300, or at least a 125. Either way it's a fairly substantial piece of machinery even if it looks a bit fey. Plus the extra police issue kit it'll likely be loaded down with. It's not exactly a Velosolex.

Good. Maybe we can get these god damned people back to work where they should be. I'm sick of all the protestors, the riots, the EVERYTHING.

People. Please. For god's sake. Shut up and go back to your work. Your lives. Your families. Quit complaining and do your job.
For those that have jobs, anyway...
Or have jobs that pay enough that they can cover the rent, taxes, heating/fuel and food bills. Never mind medical costs or any kind of meaningful insurance, pension or savings.

Pandaman... you are the laces on the boot stamping on humanity's face. I hope your statement was trolling. The occupation protests are NOT the same as the riots of a couple months ago. Get a clue.

I'm not superfussed either way, probably because I'm fortunate enough to have a job that's JUST about paying the bills (so long as I live like a fucking pauper, that is) and can't really take any extra stress right now, but these guys have still boned our economic superstructure and are coming out of it with yearly bonuses in excess of what a lot of people earn in their whole lifetime. Is not a little protest at least allowable in this situation? They're hardly overrunning the buildings or blowing them up. Just demonstrating.

So incredibly fake, it's absolutely absurd that anybody can view the footage and not think that this guy was trying to cause a scene.

Watch the vid in this link from 1:10 to 1:17.
See?
The back wheel of the bike approaches his leg, either hits it or gets very close, then backs up about a foot. Afterward, his leg is somehow wedged between the wheel and the road. It doesn't show it very clearly, but you could definitely make out him moving his leg over and jamming it under the wheel to the best of his ability.

Whether he has a broken leg or when/how he received it I do not know, but I know what I see in this vid is a clear fraud. He may or may not have been legitimately brutalized, and the cops in this vid may or may not have used excessive force, but the man was definitely dramatizing the incident at some level, and he definitely had not real reason to kick over the police vehicle.

also... I like how all the photographers stood around and took pictures and not a single one tried to help. sigh... put down your cameras guys and lend a hand! (btw, photographer myself)
Because good media don't interfere and don't take sides, ever. Especially not if it's pretty clearly a rather poor attempt at staging a fake 'police brutality' incident.
Actually, if someone is in danger and you do nothing to help, you can go to jail for a really long time because of that.

I say again, doing nothing is illegal. But, I think this was faked so it doesn't matter anyway.

Complete. and. utter. bullshit.

I'll say again what I said earlier in this thread. I went under the rear wheels of one of these...

...both legs from toes to knees, and didn't break a single bone. I also didn't squeal like a pig that's being raped.

The video looks like a total fraud, he looks like a whining pussy, and his lawyer looks like an escapee from a mental asylum.

It's a shame, because there are actually genuine cases where the police have gotten out of hand. This limilight stealing crybaby is harming the very cause he's supposed to be supporting, by tainting observers opinions of the whole thing.

Also, just as a side note, if he had his leg trapped under the bike, how did the police manage to get him out to turn him over and restrain him without moving the bike?

Just saying!

It's too bad that it's illegal to hire strikebreakers anymore. Maybe the people who want to work could, then.
You people make me sick, lets just let the government do what they want are you serious?
And people like you make me sick. Government/Companies are not evil by virtue of being government/a company.

The Government is made of people. Let me ask you this. What exactly do you think they're doing that's so horrible? Plotting world domination? Trying to turn the US into the Soviet States of America? What?
No of course not but they could if people don't stop them from doing whatever they want, I am English so I don't know quite what your bill of rights stuff says exactly but I do believe its say somewhere that citizens have the right to protest on any grounds they like.
There is a folk song here that goes "Because the people then they understood what we have since forgot. That the government will only work for its own benefit." Its as true today as ever.

That's what I asked though. 'Doing whatever they want'. What exactly do you think they're trying to do that's so horrible? (I'm not saying the Government/Companies don't screw up sometimes, but what exactly makes them irredeemably EVIL?)

Also, they aren't allowed to protest on any grounds. Some things are restricted.

Well yes have you heard of a little thing called SOPA?
