So very often I will be in that stage of sleep where Im not alseep yet, and I am completely aware of what is going on around me. Whenever I am in this I have some pretty cool ideas.

Ideas like:
If someone's entire body was invisible (not a cloak force field), wouldn't they be blind? Your eyes require reflection to see, so if the eyes were invisible...

In the near future are facial coverings (IE: scarfs, bandannas, masks, ect.) going to become a popular fashion? With the number of cameras everywhere it might be the only way to protect our identities.

What odd ideas or thoughts do you have?

A quote from Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
"The worst moment for an atheist is when he is genuinely thankful, but has nobody to thank."

Os Guinness is a very interesting read.

Sometimes I wonder if all groups of friends think they're completely different to others. Because I never hear anyone talking about the sort of things me and my friends do in public. It just seems unlikely that no-one else would, so I wonder whether others think the same thing.

Sort of like how everyone thinks they're the only person who thinks that way, but less personal and more social.

You could thank your parents for bringing you into existent and making it so that you are able to thank them for whatever you did. My odd idea is that if the Earth revolves around the Sun, the Sun revolves around the Milky way and the Milky way around the Galaxy then surely the Galaxy must revolve around something larger. Not an odd idea sure but many people probaly don't think about it.

"Thank the big bang for this beautiful day" sounds blatantly rather existentially hollow and empirically indirect. Ignoring the matters of one soul is escapism.

Mine was an idea for a game. You have this gun that shoots out interconnecting wormholes. For an easier explanation call them portals. With these portals you try to escape a crazy robot that is trying to kill you. I think it'd sell.

I find a lot of everyday "truths" seem strange when you take a step back and examine them. Money is only as valuable as we make it, for example. All it is is bits of cotton paper and metal coins. But the world revolves around the stuff. Society is built on strange logic like this, yet somehow it still functions (sort of.)

That sounds like a great game, I would totally buy it!

OP: I've had an idea for a flamethrower. It has a computer attached t it. You type in an object, example: Grass, Trees, Ants, people, whatever, and it will only burn that very object and anything around it will only feel a cool breeze.

I've already thought of things like tiny robot...things, that will cntrol the fire in a certain area, and keep it cool until it hits said object

Not a perfect thing, but I've had it in my head for a good ten years or so
