With the Deadly Relflex and Hilarity mods for Oblivion, i exploded a guard and then ressurected him and talked to his legs. It was weird staring at a crotch while talking.

Well, in Morrowind, when I left the first town, a wizard's body fell from the sky in front of me. Got some nice gear from it.

In Assassin's Creed, I was going to save a citizen, and was climbing down the side of a building, planning to jump on one of the guards. When I press X, i jump, sail past the guards, and land on an old man, killing him.

Sorry all, another Oblivion one.

I was fighting in an Arena match with the sword of the crusader, everything was going well until suddenly my sword just vanishes when the opponent hit me. I assumed I had been disarmed but could not find my sword ANYWHERE on the ground. As it is a rather important item I had to load my last save, a good hour of play behind. How annoying.

Elder Scrolls Oblivion, I was walking along and a horse spawned in front of me and galloped around... Upside down, it had an imperial guard on it who evidently was fighting something in the ground because he chased it around in circles. ( I notice Bethesda likes to get you when you exploring).
Ooh, I had a weird horse one that's kind of along these lines...I once got caught by a guard riding a horse when I had a bounty on my head and for whatever reason his torso was rotating in circles when he stopped me for being criminal scum. It was like he was trying to bow in the saddle except he just kept on moving right through the horse.

Bethesda has some kind of issue, I've never played a game of theirs that had no bizarre glitches that are 1)hilarious and 2)unreproducible.

Have you ever had something completely abnormal happen to you in games?

For me it was an event match from SSB:Melee.
It was where you had to kill a giant Yoshi once, and you had 3 lives.
The first time I started the event, the Yoshi just walked off the screen in less than a second.
All of my friends asked "How'd you do that?"
Eventually they all assumed I had L33t Hacker Skills.
I'm still trying to get people off my back about how I won't fix their computer for them.

What about you?
That yoshi one happened to me.
And I've had a million. Such as odd events which involve me falling into what I call...
THE VOID OF GAMELESSNESS
The void of gamelessness is the colourness void beyond all maps which you can see through noclip and other glitches. One glitch I saw is where there was a zombie or something floating in a wall and whatever you did to it, it didn't die.
There was also another one where in an old game called Destruction Derby: Raw, you could have matches on top of skyscrapers and crap, and if you fell off, you died instantly. Once, we preyed on this car which, from experience, got nearly 5500 points each derby. We killed him in 6 seconds before he could hit any cars (which gets you points) and he still got 5500.
Also, same game, if you used the nitro boost from where you started and rocketed to the edge, you would wedge there and start rolling around randomly. If any cars hit you, they were flung to the bottom of the scraper instantly. Also, you started gaining points for all the tricks you could do, like Loop The Loop and X2 Barrel Roll and the really rare combinations that got you 1000's of points like Angel Of Death and Grim Reaper.
Eventually though, you just rocketed to the ground through a glitch in a glitch. Or you got caught in the middle of the skyscraper and watched cars fall to their doom. It's quite an old game.

That's not a glitch, I'm not sure if you thought it was, but I'm just mentioning it. It's part of a quest, it also provides one of the things needed to do a speed run.

For me, it was in Morrowind. One of the later quests for the main story line is to talik to a Nine Divines priest and then subsequently go talk to Viviec. My problem was, I did all this before I talked to the Ashlander who gave me the quest, so I never got to complete it and every time I talked to the Ashlander leader he would te4ll me to go speak to the church guy. I ended up not ne3eding him for any further quests so I just finished the story as if nothing happened.

EDIT: And that glitch in Oblivion where you can't complete the Umbra quest line without constantly fast traveling is hell.

anybody else detecting a bethesda pattern?
Of course. They're too lazy to fix all the bugs on release and always patch it later.
On topic, in Assassin's Creed II while going through one of the Assassin's tombs, I was fighting a soldier on some stairs near a flag and he got caught between the flag and the wall when he tried to take a swing at me.
He was squirming about and trying to get me, but his hits wouldn't connect, and Ezio wouldn't target him any longer.
I no longer had the attack, dodge, assassinate, disarm, counter options available to me and I had to just climb up the wall and move on towards the sarcophagus without killing him :(
Apart from that, a damn fine, solid game, almost no glitches at all apart from that one. 10/10 Ubi.

Walking into the republic of Dave to find the sherrif of Megaton standing inside, AFTER I HAD BLOWN UP MEGATON. I spoke to him, ended the conversation and he faded away to nothing.

Quite confusing actually.

Also in Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, I was running away from some guards, went to climb a wall that had a door. The game glitched, I went through the door and fell into just blackness. I could see Altair in the falling position and control his fall, but I never stopped falling.
Had to restart that whole mission over again (which was a pain in the ....)
-Edit- Also, props to Ubisoft for actually giving Altair a middle-eastern voice in the psp game. I was weirded out when in Assassin's Creed the syrian Assassin had an American voice actor.

In Bioshock, I heard one of those mad preacher types. I got ready to fight him, but then he just stood there. I tried to go around him for a stealth kill, but then he just followed me. I kept getting stalked by him for a few minutes, and he shot at my enemies for me, so I thought that they just had it programmed so that people would help you. I was wrong, since after ten minutes or so he started opening fire on me.

it was like some sort of pot dream in saints row. i died in a mission and woke up in the medical room of the prison(the one you start out in, i was still new to the game and I thought it was an alternative to just normal PDs) wither way i go to the door but cant open it. i get closer and walk right through it into a glitching platform. its as it the tiny room is floating thousands of feet in the air. then i walk through a wall and start falling. it says to pull my parachute and I do and I just fall for a few seconds, suddenly my parachute falls off and I start swimming upward as if I was in water...then it goes black and I appear in the caverns.

Playing Shattered Land many years ago the game assumed every member of the party had inertial barrier up at all times. This made fights with templar troops pretty easy. It kept it in the save file too. Never could repeat it though.
