What are the little things in life, the weird ones, that bother you? Common things like "people misusing 'your' and 'you're'" don't count. Something odd or at least not over-complained.

Mine include sniffling and the word "camaraderie." As for the latter, everyone wants to spell it "comradery," because it reminds them of the word "comrade" and sounds like it's based on said word, and apparently no one bothers to look it up. As for the former, I really loathe the sound of people with colds sniffling instead of blowing their noses. I know that sometimes you can't help it, but I twitch because that sound goes through every barrier and gets my attention no matter how hard I try to block it out.

I hate people using the phrase "It's not rocket science!" Given that the science behind rockets is astoundingly simple and the thing they are trying to explain is often much more complicated.

When i'm not the last one to shut my door
If someone opens, and then shuts my door while i'm in bed, i'll get up just to re open and close the door
Freaking annoying people, isn't it obvious?

When games/movies try to emotionally manipulate me, but are incredibly obvious about doing so. Few things piss me off more...

In addition, I like to have all my stuff aligned in some fashion. If it is not aligned, it just bugs the hell out of me.

People that tell me the exact time rather than rounding off to the nearest 5. Bugs me more than it should.

People who leave cabinets open after they get out a glass or dish. It takes under a second to just flick the damn thing shut. Why oh why can't they do it?? My roommates used to leave them open, and I would round the corner into our kitchen and suddenly the corner of a cabinet door would hit me (small kitchen). Aside from that... people who can't put the cap back on the toothpaste. Its the simple things like that... the sorts of things that take less than an iota of effort to accomplish but some people are just too lazy to do even that!

*pant pant pant*

Lol, that was a little more rantish than I wanted it to be. Wahahahahaha.

Do you know what is even worse than that? When someone asks you the time, and you round it to the nearest 5 like any rational person does and then a third party pipes up and corrects you on the exact minute. That.... that drives me crazy.

Making the 'liek' typo when intending to type 'like'.
This one typo makes me rage.

People Capitalizing Every Word In A Sentence Because Obviously Their Life Is More Important Than Yours If They Type It With A Capital L.

Oh, and cutlery being mixed up. Find a fork buried in the spoon pile? I rage.

Either that was a wild guess or a slightly educated guess.

But yes, the legs (pelvic bones specifically) along with the gait do play a massive part of dinosaur classification.

Pteranodon, Plesiosaurus, Mosasaurus, Elasmosaurus, Tapejara, Ichthyosaurus etc. do not fit into either saurischia or ornithischia and are therefore not dinosaurs.

Funny, I was going to say when people type "your" instead of "you're". Most threads make me wince... constantly.

But, I guess without that, or indeed without any grammar stuff, I'd gotta say that the only thing that really bugs me is when people won't shut the hell up about new technology. Right now, it's all about cloud computing, but I'm sure it'll be something new a year from now.

It's like, when we were all still using 1.44mb disks (and stubbornly ignoring Zip drives), when suddenly CD-ROM was invented. It's a good thing the internet didn't exist, because the same people would be constantly on about how CDs will kill harddrives.

People who post intentionally vague status updates on their facebook, then act like nothing's wrong when people do talk to them.
I mean, you obviously want to talk about something. You don't just post 3 dots (... like that, I've seriously seen just that) for the sake of it. And then when people do talk to you, you brush it off???

GAAAHHHHHH!!!

Also, passive-agressive notes.

Oh! And when people just post "k" as a response in chat. I want to break all of there fingers so they constantly type other letters by painful accident.

I think you've just screwed yourself. At least be a proper Grammar Nazi if it bugs you, or don't complain. (although I know what you mean with those "CAPSLOCK IS CRUISECONTROL FOR COOOL" People.

Anyway, when people lie to themselves. It really bugs me if someone says they're not a fanboy for example, while they have a small shrine to the game devs. Or buy cake on some actor's birthday just because he's very good. Like famous people would care if someone they don't know buys cake in their honour. They wouldn't even know about it.

I also dislike most of the American spelling. Like color and honor and other things. It's not what I've been taught in school.

When people make problems out of nothing. Sure a lot of people probably hate this but I seriously have anger issues when this happens and I am a very calm person normally.
Probably because my mum is the best at making the biggest problems out of the tiniest things. Annoys me so god damn much I'm angry just thinking about it.

Now I have to go read or something to calm down.

This sometimes, but I find the flipside to be a little more annoying i.e. If I'm working to a deadline for, say, a college project then I'd like to know exactly how much time I have. Thankfully I've only had to measure deadline time in minutes on one or two occasions.

Also when my housemates leave the lights on. Oddly enough, it only really bothers me when its the stairs light. I mean I can climb stairs in the dark so turn off the light and trim a little of the electricity bill.
