The terms "Salt and Pepper Hair" and "South Paw." Yes, I get why people use them, and it's hard even to explain why i dislike them; I just don't like hearing them in conversation.

I actually like salt and pepper, i think its better than graying

i had to google south paw, never heard it before (probably because im not a leftie) but that does sound like an annoying (and for some reason dated) way to say leftie

Pteranodon, Plesiosaurus, Mosasaurus, Elasmosaurus, Tapejara, Ichthyosaurus etc. do not fit into either saurischia or ornithischia and are therefore not dinosaurs.

What are they classified as then?

They're prehistoric reptiles, but they do not fit within the classifications of dinosaurs.

Of course it is much more in-depth than just that.

Pterandon and Tapejara are part of the pterosauria order, whereas elasmosaurus and plesiosaurus are part of the plesiosauria order.

Sometimes there are superorders which encompass other orders, one of these is the superorder dinosauria which is made up of the ornithischia and saurischia orders. Because neither elasmosaurus, plesiosaurus, pteranodon etc. are part of those two orders...they are not dinosaurs.
