I'm so anal about character customisation, it's not even funny.

Seriously, I'll spend ages crafting a character and then if I notice something that bugs me, I'll delete hours of game play just to rectify it.
this,

I also always try to create the same character, more or less, same facial features, skin color, build, hair style.

I also try to use my character in the same way as I do other games, so basically my fantasy rpg character always carry's a big two handed sword, wears light armor, uses berserk type spells...

this applies to all games from fight night to saints row.

kinda a recent thing but in some games I find myself constantly striving to do better in combat. While that might not sound that weird at first I do it to an extremely animal degree. Latest example would be the witcher 2 where is I take more than two hits in a battle even if I have bested my foes I will reload to do it again.

Also in GTA, saints row etc. I will follow a random npc for an entire day, just cause I can.

If there is a fun glitch in a game I will usually exploit it. For example the floating spoon glitch in Oblivion. I copied a spoon like thousands of times (on xbox mind you :p) and managed to make a pathway of spoons to the top of the White Tower.

In Bethesda games I usually RP a lot, I never use fast travel. Or I can only use my map when indoors when it's raining for example. Or every X amount of times I must eat something, which means I have to go hunting when i'm in the wild. I know New Vegas isn't a bethesda game, but I hoped they would've done more with the "hardcore" mode. Haven't played it on the PC yet, so there're probably some mods out for it.

In first person games with mirrors I have to check my face in the mirror regularly to see if it has been blown off. I suppose I find it unbelievable to be near death a hundred times without even getting a scar.

- Dude your face!
- What? What is wrong with it?
- Nothing, thats the creepy thing about it.

So...much...reloading. I have a constant fear of running out of ammo. I never use LMGs due to the fact I'll reload at 80 rounds left anyway. With RPGs I'm almost OCD with the little details in characters, especially mine. I'll spend forever making my guy, then getting into the game and realizing I suddenly don't like my nose and go back in. I also am a major packrat. Any item I feel in some far-off situation that will probably never happen I may use it I hang on to. I carried that goblin staff around in Oblivion until I got my first house, then stored it there instead of selling it.

All my characters are redheads with green eyes (whenever I can) and have all the same family name (whenever I can). I think of them of all from the same family across time and space.

Everything has to be perfect. I spend large amounts of time customizing characters to get exact look I have in my head. I put a lot of effort into maximizing stats and equipment. I have to discover the entire map, clear out every enemy, and take all the loot as well. I even get myself killed because I like to kill enemies in very specific ways, specially in MK 9.

I'll often reload an event over and over until I do it without it costing me consumables,
I sometimes do it to the point where I end up hating the game

I will shoot a bullet just to reload frequently. I just like seeing my gun animated/am a compulsive reloader I guess.

that's actually pretty cool..but by the time i get a new game where i can custom the character. im usually inspired by a new character that i have seen in a movie or series, in skyrim, my wood elf character was named after arya stark (G.O.T)..my second playthrough will be marton broadcloak (TDT)

In games like Fallout and Skyrim, where you can pick up items, I hoard basically everything that has at least some use or value (even if it's just looking nice or being unique, like the elusive wood chippers in Fallout). It actually became a problem in Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl since a bug with the engine gradually increases loading times the more items are in your stash (and it counted each individual item, so every 100 pistol bullets was about a second of extra loading)

Do things perfectly that have absolutely no need to be done perfectly. Like I'' be playing Modern Warefare 3 singleplayer, and I'll restart the mission if I take a single bullet.
thats really bad.wow

I obeyed the traffic laws in LA Noire for a time. I think it was around the time when I had to traverse nearly the whole map to get to my objective that I realized how time-wastey that was.

I always complete the entire dungeon before moving on in The Binding of Isaac. Always.

And in most RPGs, I only keep one set of armor and one weapon at any given time. I've never understood the concept of keeping more than your best whatever at any given time, unless completely necessary.

reloading after firing a single round
THIS. ALOT. It started since I played Call Of Duty and it killed me when playing Brothers In Arms. I ended up with a lot of orphaned magazines - or clips for the M1. One of the other odd stuff I do alot is to try and save NPCs in games, even those I know are scripted to die.
Funny thing about the M1 in real life is that it worked the exact opposite. You couldn't reload it without emptying it. xD

I am obsessed with hearing every single line of dialogue in a game. If I happen to miss even a single word I will reload. Same goes for movies... You can imagine how that goes.
thats me with movies sometimes..if its a really good movie or series

I put my WoW characters to bed if I stop playing to go to sleep myself. I sit them down on a bed in a tavern if I'm in a town, or find a nice, safe little cave or hollow or something if I'm out in the wilderness. It just feels wrong to do otherwise...

One time my boyfriend and I were playing our Undead characters together (I was visiting family and missing him), and I made him do the same before we logged out. We ended up sat down one behind the other in a coffin. It would have been adorable, but really it just looked like we were in a canoe or something :p
