I think the Shrink ray, Freeze ray and the devastator from Duke Nukem 3D are pretty weird and in the Devastator's case, VERY awesome.
The Hive Hand, TAU cannon and the Snark from Half-Life, as well as the Shock Roach and Spore Launcher from Half-Life: Opposing Force.
Although the Frying Pan from Conker's Bad Fur Day is by far my favorite.

Most old games have way better weapons than anything that's come out in the last decade.

Ha! I loved that weapon! Gave the term "bloodbath" a whole new meaning.

As for me, most of the weapons in the Ratchet and Clank series were out there, but so damn awesome. A gun that turns enemies into chickens? I want one.

Just south park the game, weapons include snowball and the ALT fire the yellow snowball, the cow launcher, a chicken that fires eggs by squeezing it, dodge balls and Terrance and Phillip dolls
