Drive actually overthrew Zodiac as my all time favorite movie ever. I eagerly await the blu ray release. 50/50 also made it to my top ten so it now looks like this:

10. 500 Days of Summer
9. The Social Network
8. The Prestige
7. 50/50
6. The Dark Knight
5. Saving Private Ryan
4. Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho
3. Alien
2. Zodiac
1. Drive

of the movies you have seen this year, what is your favorite?

X-Men: First Class.

It really surprised me, after the huge let down of X3. Closely followed by the pre-crossover movies on the run up to The Avengers (Thor, Captain America)

Captain America. It was a shock how good it was but after Ironman and Thor I shouldnt have been surprized.

X-men: First Class was awesome, closely followed by Iron Man 2 and Captain America.
Yes, I do only watch super-hero movies, how did you guess?

If we're talking about movies that I saw for the first time, Inglorious Basterds.

Movies that came out this year? Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Ninja'd. It was a surprisingly good superhero movie. I still can't wait for The Avengers to come out.

Also, Rise of the Planet of the Apes was so fucking good. It had so many references to the original Planet of the Apes movie as well, which was also good.

Probably Contagion, although Captain America came pretty close, as did Planet of the Apes.

Actually, I liked a lot of movies this year.

I'm sure this is some sort of blasphemy, but James McAvoy was an amazing Xavier.

Other notable movies I've seen this year: Fight Club and Twelve Monkeys. There are undoubtedly more, I just can't remember.

Movie I watched for the first time: The Fountain

Best movie that came out this year: The Tree of Life

Most entertaining and awesome movie that came out this year: X-men: First Class. McAvoy and Fassbender were so good.

Any movie I watched: Probably <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.304214-2-50-Reviews-Thirteen-2003>Thirteen.

Of the movies that came out this year: So far, it's a tie between <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.304028-Marter-to-the-Movies-Captain-America-The-First-Avenger>Captain America, <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.289016-Marter-to-the-Movies-X-Men-First-Class>X-Men: First Class and <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.273103-Marter-to-the-Movies-Sucker-Punch>Sucker Punch.

However, that's without seeing Moneyball or some of the Oscar bait films, so that's a very much "as of now" list.

It's a toss up between X-Men: First Class and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Both were amazing.

The one with your Mom in it. That one was awesome.

But seriously, I'd say Captain America. However, I think that's only because it was one of the most recent. It might be Harry Potter, but that was a bit longer ago so it isn't as fresh in my mind.

I haven't seen too many new movies this year, but of what I've seen I'd have to say Captain America. X-Men First Class would be second, and Sucker Punch a close third.

I haven't watch too many films this year. My favourite is probably Inland Empire, even if I can't make any sense of it.
