For those who don't know yet, we won the Webbys sometime around a week ago. We are officially a bigger deal than Martha Stewart, or at least people think we are a bigger deal, and that's what really matters.

I think that deserves a drink. An official drink for the Escapist.

What are the Webbys?

The Webbys look like a Slinky (or a single helix):

The point is that we have three from this year, added to however many we had before.

What's the official drink?
That's for you to decide. Depending on the response, I'll likely make a poll of the ones that get the most attention.

Where do I start?
With a quality liquor.

From there, some suggestions:
1. Post an outlandish, delicious, and/or original recipe.
2. Make it. Take a picture of it. Take a picture of you trying it.
3. Give it a name, background, and some character. Play on the Webbys, Featured Content, or something unique about the Escapist.
4. Try and review someone else's drink. Make fun of the gin and milk recipe.

Mostly: have fun, but drink responsibly.

Winners Don't Drink and Drive. Ever.

Jack Daniels. Nothing added to it.
Man up and drink a handle per Webby. Go.

The Escapeshot.

50 ml of Absinth
25 ml of Red Bull
25 ml of Vodka

It's all I could come up with.

Obviously Jack Daniels, or Johnnie Walker on ice - I associate whiskey with writing so it's a good idea to drink some good whiskey!

It should be a personal favourite of mine.

Take 568ml of Fosters. Drink. Repeat until you can't see.

For all those saying to man up:

25 ml vodka
50 ml spiced rum
75 ml amaretto
2 raw eggs

The "Rocky Balboa" will not be the official drink, but it's harder than straight whiskey.

Official Drink: Sake Carpet Bomb. Purchase dozens of bottles of Sake. The round, lantern-y like black bottles with gold writing. Distribute one bottle per person. Commence drinking. Then speak in an ignorantly Japanese voice all night long while playing cut-throat Cities and Knights. Enjoy. (the carpet part is the inevitable vomit that may end up on your carpet/rug/kitchen floor.)

Escapism.

Equal parts:
Limoncello (yellow for Yahtzee)
Midori melon (green for Extra Credits)
Blue Curacao (general blue-ness of the Escapist).

That actually sounds like something that would be drinkable and summery. Bit too sweet on its own probably. Add soda water?

The Geeky White Russian

2 shots of Vodka
1 shot of your favorite coffee liquor
1 shot of Amaretto liquor
1 scoop of vanilla ice cream
3 ice cubes
And fill the rest of the glass with milk or light cream. Use a drinking glass, a reglar high ball wont be enough. I drink it all the time while a browse these forums (which may explain my behavior...)

Here's a slogan...

The GWR! Drinks as smooth as the Daily Drop's camera's frame rate, and kicks like Yahtzee's temper!

Despite sounding frighteningly like a milkshake, four shots is pretty harsh. I really have to try that now.

It's exactly like a milkshake. The Amaretto just makes it so flavorful.
Drinking it goes like this:
"Mmm! What a tasty milkshake! It's like coffee ice cream with a ki... Why is my face on the floor?..."
It's less a "night on the town" kind of drink, and more a "make a bunch for your friends and then see who can survive the longest in Left 4 Dead" kind of drink.

Except for the coffee, that sounds like a drink for me!

OT: I've not been drinking long enough to know a good mix so I'll just go with the GWR.

Just do an extra shot of Amaretto instead of the coffee liquor and it won't taste as "coffee-y."

Soda water would be one good option.

Another would be a layered shot.

The first would likely taste better, the second would be awesome looking.

Appalation Mountian Fuel (I came up with it myself):
1 part Keystone Light
1 part Mountian Dew
Mix well and serve in any cup handy.

OT:
I prefer Dr. Pepper as my everyday drink

There's also the option of simply adding vodka to even it out, though that option should probably be saved until after sundown. I know two flavored vodka martinis usually has me going pretty good.

Here's one I came up with just now:

The Unskippable:

500 ml Keystone Light
50 ml Bacardi 151

Drop shot of Bacardi into beer, drink quickly without stopping.
