I personally don't see the point in these. They're marginally thinner than DSs and Lites, they get rid of the GBA slot, which is a ***** for Pokémon gamers and ... other games which are skanky and require previous versions to unlock things. Wait, that's just Pokémon. Skanky buggers. Anywho. They have TWO CAMERAS. What the hell's wrong with just one camera?

Will someone please explain to me why having two cameras used simultaneously is going to improve gaming performance?

The removal of the second slot is to make room for the additional RAM. If you were unlucky enough to get the Opera web browser for the DS lite, it had a ram boost that went into that slot. They are just making it standard now.

Wow! That's more money than i thought it would be... now it's about the same price as a PSP. The only difference is these things will sell like hotcakes.

I already own a DS lite, so ill be buying a PSP before i buy one of these.

I might buy one. But not any time soon. I'm going to wait until it gets a decent number of excellent games that aren't DS-compatible. Then, and only then, will I consider buying one.

i do import nearly all my ds games anyway...
thought it was harder to region lock cartridges anyways?

just found out that it will be released in uk on 3rd april (5th april US) but if it is region locked, which should i get...

once again apologies, no more after this one.
looked into it a bit more, DSi is region locked for DLC and DSi software, any DS games will work regardless where they came from.

makes the choice easy for me as if i want to download anything i can use, i'd have to get a UK DSi...
Which comes out first...
shame theres no blue one like the US get...
