Ah, I was waiting for someone to post that :D
Steve says everything I wanna say, but better.
I'll just add that people spelling easy words like "Offensive" with 2 i's, offends me.
Isn't that just the South African version. Ooooh, I doubt I actually offended anyone there.

I get annoyed though with the difference between offending people and people being offended. If I call someone the c-word, that's offending people, and I'm usually sorry. If I generally use the c-word more than required and people get upset about it, that's people being offended. I don't really care about that.

Also, the c-word is ****.

When people say "Hey, that offends me!", I say "Oh, that must suck.".

People have different opinions, you won't like all of them. Any opinion that offends you, means that your opinion is equally offending to the other person.

No, I tend to not give a shit when someone decides to act like a complete and total jackass. I ignore them and move on, no sense in arguing or debating with those kind of people. And I do get annoyed when a group flies off the handle and gets super offended when some comment flies their way.

IMO, getting offended over something doesn't help and makes things worse. Just acknowledge that what the person said was childish and move on.

I'm ironically offended by the notion of offending others. I get offended when anyone says or types out an offending word with some rediculous delicacy. It's not the N-word, it's ******. It's not the C-word, it's ****. It's not f**k, it's Fuck. Using proper English in an appropriate context is not inherently offensive. If your intentions are to be offensive, then the problem is your intentions, not the words you choose to express them with. Because preventing me from using the word shit when I joke about bowl movements isn't going to make the joke any less about poop, crap, number 2, deuce, or Barbara Striessand than it is!

And you know what? Fuck you Lindsey Lohan. People can use the word gay in whatever context they want! You fairy loving twat. Oh, fairy is offensive? How about fudge packer? Butt pirate? Homo? What? I can't even use homo? It's an abbreviation of the word of their sexual orientation by definition for christs sake! What? Now I've pissed off the christians? Ah fuck it.

Anyone could take anything at any point offensively, and the politically correct movement supports their right to not be offended over your right to say what you wish.

At my work, 'blind' is now considered to be potentially offensive to blind people, as the word blind has a potentially negative stereotype (See 'Blind as a Bat'). I told my boss, in response, that as someone who could be considered legally blind when I am not wearing my glasses, that I find 'print disabled' offensive. He couldn't reply to me, because saying blind could get him written up, and offending me could also get him written up. Its bullshit.

You do not have the freedom from being offended. People can be offended by arbitrary things. Hell, people being politically correct offend me, so what happens then? Do I get a lawsuit? Do they get fired from their jobs? Its just utterly ridiculous.

I have a jewish friend. I call him a 'bad jew' all the time because he eats a lot of ham and is REALLY bad with money. He cracks the hell up. People around us, non-jewish people, get angry when I make such jokes. I had a co-worker give me a funny look when this happened.

Fiancee': "Careful with the bread."
Coworker: "Yeah, I don't think anyone likes flat bread that much."
Me: "They are called jews. Do'uh."

If I had been working at the time, I could have been written up. Yet, when I went home and told my jewish friend, he almost fell out of his goddamn chair.

Offended? That's hard to say. Pissed off definitely. I don't like it when people use racial epitaphs in my presence. [I'm white, I just think it's a trashy way to talk.] And if they persist, I simply won't talk to that person anymore.
I don't waste my time arguing with people on the internet, but if a fundie gets in my face for some reason I won't hesitate to say something extremely nasty and spontaneous in response to an ignorant comment about my religion. [I'm an Occultist.]
People really just need to stay the hell out of other people's business.
