Okay guys/girls I just realised I have left my French oral book at school.
The day before I have my oral exam which is 25% of my final exam.
What the hell do I do as google translate sucks ass.

I have my french oral tommorow as well. Do you not have any notes or sheets written up on it? All I can say though is that I am truely and utterly fucked. Look if you know your stuff than a quick cram the night before had isn't going to do too much good tbh.

Ah the leaving cert.

I find that using a book for your oral is useless anyway (my oral is on Friday). I think it's easier if you just, in your head, go through the topics that are always asked. Yourself, Family, Area, School, Post-School, Usual Weekend, Transition Year (that can be asked, a few people I know didn't prepare for it and got burned because of it).

After that, learn off a few phrases for if they decide to be an arsehole and ask you about Japan or Lybia (C'est un situation très gràve. Blahdy blahdy blah).

Apart from that, just remember to keep talking, have a smile on your face, and look the examiner in the eye.

Quick prayer to your deity of choice?

Maybe try and find a better translation engine in the meantime and cram when you get to school, other than that, you're pretty boned.

*snickers like a pre-teen at the title* Yeah you should really study for your French oral exam, you can't imagine the fallout if that goes wrong. *snickers some more*

*ahem*

Doesn't your school have a website? Maybe it links to other websites on different subjects that have online tests or whatever. My school did, and I remember revising German like that once. It's not perfect, but it's more than doing nothing I guess. And if your school's website doesn't, just google them yourself and try to revise a bit.

And that.

That's pretty much what my plan was but my francais Oral book was kind of my anchor, this has just thrown me right off, but thankfully I have a good few note still.

Tune your radio to a French station and listen for the day. That should let you parrot their language enough to pass with your notes that you've obviously taken during lessons...

évidemment?

There is a school of thought which says that, the day before your exam, you should have acquired at least sufficient knowledge to hit a pass mark - if not, something's gone seriously wrong with your studying.

Wing it. And think French. I recommend a croissant and a cigarette for breakfast tomorrow.

Bon chance, mon ami.

Nah I have been studying before this but I've also been preoccupied with a music practical ad well.
I was just hoping to get some last minute revision done.

Lean back and enjoy the French woman sucking your penis. Or talk to one of your friends in the class begging for help. AND REMEMBER ABOUT IT NEXT TIME!

Well, you should be able to reel off your learned stuff by now without notes anyway. Like, you're not realistically gonna be able to cram the entire French book in one night :p

Heh heh. French oral.

As for your problem...I don't know, use the internet. There's more websites then just Google and The Escapist. Improvise.
