Pretty much any injury that has a squish or a crack sound makes me cringe and cry.

I agree with you on the eyes, potential injury to those makes me shudder. The other one is to the spine. There's a particularly horrific scene in exploitation film "Wolf Creek", where the antagonist inflicts a spinal injury on someone so that she becomes paralysed (with the words "Head on a stick" describing the end result). I endured most of that film without much revulsion, but that scene freaks me the heck out.

.... And now that. Scenes depicting sexual assault as a whole, actually. There was a scene in Game of Thrones where a bunch of men ganged up on Sansa; and never was I happier to see the Hound appear.

I once read a manga.. yeah, one of those things. It was drawn by one of my favourite authors, Shintaro Kago. He specialises in injuries - horrible injuries - and blood, gore, genuinely disturbing stuff. Also fantastical, amazing stuff like peoples' heads asplading and trucks coming out of their skull.

One of his manga is just 20 pages of girls talking about shit, then ripping their intestines out. And skipping with them. And lassoing each other. And strangling each other. And to add it to the heap, kinkabu (Japanese bondage. It's much fetishier than Western bondage, as there's the whole other outlet of exhibitionalism that's really important in it)

I also really hate amputation. I don't mind stabbing, decapation of all things, castration, rape with knives, sharp things, violent bondange - anything that in movies are considered decrepid to be done by a human being.

Though it's more to do with the horror of the long term. Being the absoloute pussy that I am, if I lost an arm, I'd consider my life over. I'd forever be in my bed, with my uncanny, shitty prosphetic arm that doesn't work, letting annoyed family members in to feed me. Imagine 50 or so years that? Horrible. It honestly gives me nightmares.

Nails, eyes, teeth and genitals. The usual. For me, the one I mind the least is probably teeth, but that's only in comparison.

Of course, any serious mutilation that's either real or presented very realistically is going to make me wince. If it's stylized or over the top, my tolerance is generally higher.

Gawd, teeth injuries for sure.

A friend of mine goes to clubs often and gets into fights (Not my thing at all, but whatever..), and he got into one. The guy he was trying to fight's friend came in and broke it up, apologized for his friend actually throwing a punch then held out his hand to shake. My mate shook his hand, then got pulled in, punched in the face and stomped on.

Although I think he was a total idiot for going out seeking a town fight, he needed about 7 artificial teeth after that night. Good times...

Anything to do with teeth for me, I remember watching a scene from one of my dads thriller selection where a guy is tortured by dentistry (Something to do with nazis I think). Makes my jaw tighten even now thinking about it. The marathon man I think it was,called.

Is it safe?

For me it is the teeth. That curb stomping scene on American History X, where you can hear the guy's teeth grinding on the curb. Just yuck!
