Oh he's being 'That guy'

You know who I'm talking about, 'That Guy'. The type of person who jumps onto your BF2 server and has mastered the forbidden art of 'PKM Sniping'. Or you're playing a nice fair game of NHL 09 and he goes straight for the glitch goals.

What are some of the most notorious 'That Guy' things that people do in gaming? Are you one of them?

By "That Guy", do you mean players that do dickish things to win, or people that glitch? If the former, people who noob-tube on every game of Call of Duty 4. If the latter, people on Splinter Cell DA who glitch themselves onto the boat in Dawn Waves.

that guy ( or team of guys ) in the only good halo online game halo2, who always super bounce their way to the tip top... all of them, and then claim that they aren't cheating, they're using a legit strategy because anyone can do it.

oh yea also the fuck nuts on L4D who always run so far ahead of the rest of the team, because they're soooo good, then get killed in a place none of us can reach them, and then mic spam everyone for being incompetent 'noobs'

5 out of 8 people on maple story.... they're all 'that guy'.

MGO .. that guy who plants porno in impossible to see places (glitch spots) and stays in that 1 spot the entire round picking off the ppl caught in them

GTA4 online .. not "that guy" ... but "that PRICK!" that knows he's going to lose the gta race .. so he makes a wall of cars, camps near the RPG spawn point and proceeds to sabotage every other racer till 1 of 2 things happen ... 1. everyone instinctively teams up on the pre armed bastard .. 2. 1 lucky **** makes it through while the rest desperately backtrack for weapons

That guy who use that glitch on COD5 that allows you to go into the ground. One side of the map was pretty much out of bounds until he got booted from the game.

'That guy' is one of the dudes in the clan I'm in.

I've known him my entire life and he's the kind of guy that... Well...

He owns people... And then the people go like:

"Hey you shotgunn00b, stop using the shotgun!"
"Yeah, you n00b"

So he gets tired of the insults, switches to a machine gun and continues.
Again, he starts owning the place.

The n00b-allegations begin again, even 'wallhax' and 'aimbot' claims, and in the end, everyone leaves or he gets kicked. What's up with that? I've seen him play and he totally doesn't glitch.

It has thought me to take people who accuse others of glitching a whole lot less seriously.

Watch out before you call someone 'that guy'.

let's not forget (those that do have BF1943) 'That Guy' on Coral Sea that Kamakazi's your plane before you can even take off.

How about 'that guy' in Battlefield who always takes a plane even they are terrible with it and end up crashing.

Or, 'that guy' who is just really good and dominates the game, but since he isn't doing anything cheap you can't really get mad at him.

I think I've been 'that guy' every now and again after getting really bored and playing Halo 3 for some reason...

Basically, shoot at a team mate just enough to piss 'em off, but not enough to kill them. Eventually, they'll get pissed off enough to kill you, and then you get to boot them

I've gotten rid of my entire team doing this... one time in one swift move because they were in a party. Much more fun than actually playing the game
