BFBC 2
everything with magnum ammo and a ACOG acope and then rushing the enemy right into their base.
Really i applaude that aggressive awesome style. Was in a squad where we all where balanced with Medic/Assaul/Engineer. And boom a base gone, adrenalin pumpin from the intesity of the gunfight, damn that was fun.

I however get called a noob when I'm tired of being sniped, spawn as a sniper meself and clear them out. All of them. Yeah...

But I feel that the BFBC2 gets a little from the CoD community by the noobcalling and shit. Was not like that on 2142 as far as I recall.

Nothing.

If it's in the game and unless it was not something not indtended by the devolpers, it's fine.

You think we as a species made it to where we were by only killing food with "skillful" tactics? No, we damn well were as cheap and efffcient as possible.

In fact, that's why firearms were adopted. Back in the day, a sword was just as effective as early firearms, dued to their inaccuracy and general cluminess, but guess why guns were used?

Becuase it's easy to teach somone how to point and shoot then master swordfighting.

Using the Invis watch in TF2. Seriously, the Cloak and Dagger is the only way to go. Being able to camp as a spy is so valuable. Granted you can't move as far in one stretch and you can't pick up metal, but as the TF2 blog once said, George Washington's greatest regret was not being permanently invisible. Do you want to dishonor one of the founding fathers? I didn't think so.
To be fair, you might not have found/purchased/traded for it, so it might not apply.

I know I'm going off topic, but I like to think of "Noobs" as "The Smart Players". People say they are terrible players, and yet they always seem to win. The real terrible players are the ones who keep falling for their tactics.

Lets see Halo: Reach.

I camp with the Focus Rifle and Plasma Launcher while cloaked. Does that count as noobish?
Hardly. Camo camping with a sniper rifle, on the other hand.

The ultimate example of noobishness in Reach is people who lose their shields then go into armour lock for the full duration and hope someone will bail their sorry ass out.

The game was designed to be significantly more noob friendly that its predecessors, though...

Arcane mage is the new frostmage, just to let you know.

I was once called a noob/cheater for being a hybrid spec (Blood/Frost) as a Death Knight in WoW (i wish i was kidding) After beating the living stupid out of another Death Knight who obviously was single-specced. (And retarded.)
I don't see how you hybrid specced now that you have to choose a specc to go down into. But yeah blood healing PvP is teh awesome. And no.. frost mages still rules the PvP most of the time, as long as I don't get my hands on them :>.

A frost mage as little to no defence for a frost DK :D

Jabber you are missing the point. This isn't life so it isn't a matter of survival in a sense. What these games are there for are to test your skill at playing them. Sure using the easy kill weapons are efficient but seriously what is the point of playing the game if every shot you make is almost guarenteed to kill the person. Use differnet weapons and perk combos see what you can really do when you try different styles of play.

A K/D lower than 2 or an accuracy bellow 20% on black ops.

I disagree about the AK74u with those two attachments, you're wasting an entire perk for that.

Personally it's a silenced AK47 for me.

Think about the last online multiplayer game you have played.
Done? Okay, now, in that game, what makes you a noob?
For me, Black Ops.
AK74u, Grip+Rapid Fire.
No, I do not mind the FAMAS.
Get an M60

Edit: Oh my goodness I forgot to contribute.

I like to kite a lot on my hunter in WoW, which annoys all the bad players.

Basically, I constantly run away from people and engage them at max range so they have trouble hitting me.
I concur, m60>every weapon in that game

minecraft, old one..
Jackasses that destroy everything you build.

Me? Well, the only kind of games I play somewhat noobishly on would be RTS games, simply because I enjoy the base-building and prolonged combat over, well, resource management and rushing. Ergo, I turtle like fuck. Sadly, few RTS games allow for such a thing these days. CnC: Generals: Zero Hour did it best.

If you don't want to be a noob, don't play like these guys:

World of Tanks, making a frontal assault against anything bigger than my IS. It's just stupid and my 122mm sometimes can't even penetrate what I'm attacking.

I love people like you. Gets me nice and farmed.

OT: Scar in MW 2=lulz. Fuck any gun after Black Ops in MW 2 is lulz. That game is so easy compared to Black Ops.

Sounds like you just got killed a few dozen times by a few guys using AK74s.
more like a couple hundred. I've died the most to it on my stats.
When people consider the AK74u they assume that nothing can possibly match it in terms of killingness and it is a spiky murder-demon covered in entrails. Other guns can engage from range, other guns have high fire rates and other guns do more damage than the AK, often times with a combination of at least two of the three.
Yes, there are guns that are good. But the 74u tends to be the biggest and baddest out there. It is perfect in every map and in just about any situation. Sure, it isn't as game breaking as.... anything in Modern Warfare 2, but because of the shift of focus in balance in this game, anything that is slightly overpowered becomes completely overpowered
My point is that if it wasn't the AK74u that was bitched about by players, it would just be another gun.
...that is better than every other one
There will always be a more powerful gun,
and I totally agree with you there and actually do understand that. Once that is out of the way, I have no doubt people will complain about the Famas or RC car(seriously, fuck that tinker toy) and inevitably ghost.
because there needs to be a top dog and whinging about it is just pointless.
Actually, whining about it isn't pointless. People whined about the Mailbox gun, and that got nerfed. They whined about the knife lunge and that got nerfed. Also whined about the footsteps and that got upgraded. Whining about things is actually working this time around. Though I do take note of your other point and once again agree. Whatever hole gets plugged up, a bigger one starts to leak.
Tell me, if you had to fight off a bunch of bad guys and you were given a choice of guns, why wouldn't you pick the best one?
Because it simply isn't fun to me. I enjoy using different combinations of guns like an AK47, or a shotgun.

I shouldn't have to be held down to one class in any game just because I keep getting beat by it. I'd consider myself hypocritical.

I never fell into the noob tubing fiasco that made a rise during Modern Warfare 2, and I won't start playing like an ass now (in a certain sense of the phrase. I do tend to put on juggernaut against quickscopers in Call of Dooty 4)

My IRL friend who plays DDO with me cussed me out when I spec'd a 28pt build Elf Paladin. She was good at soloing, which is all I do, but he judged me on criteria I didn't even spec for.
