Imo, I really missed the instant hit of the Sniper Rifle when I unlocked the Huntsman, it took away a large part of the Sniper's appeal to me.
Final Fantasy XIII. I'm a FF fanboy, I am. I starved myself for a week to be able to afford this game, and when I saw what it was... I died a little inside.

I have never been more disappointed in a game than that. The fact that I loved the first one so much is probably one of the reasons why I thought the sequel was such a downer.
I let myself get over-hyped, bought it on launch day, and beat it in a good 4 hours.
That, was sad.

Most of the guns in MW2. (with a few exceptions)
Mainly because they all equally can kill a person in 2-3 hits.

In Team Fortress 2 I managed to scrape enough scrap metal together in order craft a random hat and I ended up with a Tough Guy's Toque. Now it's a nice enough hat but it seems to be extremely common...which makes me sad. 
Next time I may have to save up a little longer and craft a hat I want...which may take awhile seeing as I'm only half way there and I last crafted a hat at least six months ago!

Ah Hope, the first step on the road to dissapointment.
Dead Space, I thought that seeing as all you start with is some sort of laser welding tool that the assault rifle you can get your hands on later in the game would be the "unstoppable juggernaut of death" TM. one unusually quick firefight and a reload later I was rather annoyed and just went back to the toolkit.

Just MW2. Mainly the snipers though. I was hoping it would be a bit more realistic but then again I should have never have borded that hype train. sigh.
Oddly enough, the Spartan Laser. It's great in multiplayer, but absolutely useless in the campaign (doesn't do anything the altogether more common Plasma Cannon and Rocket Launchers don't do, and only available for a select few points in the game...).
Yes. I'm not sure how anyone could think QTE develop tension. Once you know you can thwart evil with the press of a button the scares dissipate.Irridium said:
