Note: Master Chief, if you lead the books, isn't a loner. He was the leader of all the other Spartans (Pre-Reach at least), and was very accustomed to working with a squad of three other Spartans (Blue Team). The only reason he dosen't work in a squad in the games is because, honestly, no one else has the resilience or endurance (or luck) to keep up with him.Serenegoose said:

I can't decide between Kratos, Auron and Frank West, or just kick some ass with Garrus and Wrex. If I absolutely must have a third in that second option, then throw in a Big Daddy.

My zombie team;
* Cris Redfield - has experience and skills for survival
* Claire Redfield - For the same reasons
* Naked Snake (from MGS3:SE) - For extra survival skills (Dr. Hal Emmerich can come too)
* Lara Croft - Since we need more hot women. Also, her skills
* A General - To provide weapons, transportation and supplies
* Cris Redfield - has experience and skills for survival
* Claire Redfield - For the same reasons
* Naked Snake (from MGS3:SE) - For extra survival skills (Dr. Hal Emmerich can come too)
* Lara Croft - Since we need more hot women. Also, her skills

I'd have to go with:
Link with Navi from Zelda: Because of all his equipment, survival skill, fighting style and also he has access to fairies and potions, can live a lot longer than me that's for sure. The reason for Navi being there is in case we're cornered, I can shove her in a bottle and toss her at the zombies for our final escape.
Kisuke and Momohime from Muramasa: The Demon Blade: I choose either because they have a huge inventory of swords at their disposal, can cook and find foods and completely slice zombies to bits, also their blades when broken can quickly regenerate after a while, endless blades.
Vyse, Aika, Fina, Drachma and Gilder from Skies of Arcadia: They're good fighters and can hold their own for a long time, also their air ships can fly us anywhere and shoot at zombies with their cannons, especially the moonstone cannon, turn huge crowds of zombies to dust.
I chose 8 people not counting Navi, but they're all from three different games and I couldn't decide since they're all good. I chose a good crew.

Sgt. Johnson from the Halo games, at the end of the day he's immune so you dont need to pop a cap in him although like the marines on Halo, hes useless in combat so youll have more diseases than the cast from '28 Days Later'...
I can't believe nobody mentioned anyone or anything from the Megaman series of games.
I would love to have the duo of X and Zero. (Frank West's ultimate ability is the X buster after all = zombie one hit kills). Powerful projectiles and deadly close-range melee would cover just about anything and they can't get infected. Especially if they get armors. Axl would be a nice third choice to round them out since he's become part of their team anyway in the games, but I'd like variety. Besides its a zombie apocalypse not a maverick one.
Any dynasty warrior would be a good addition. Rachet with all his zany and cool weapons would be fun too. A Dragoon could fight from the air and distance. Any DBZ guy could do the same thing.

Positives: He is a genius and thusly will find the cure. He has a time machine so we can prevent this from happening in the first place. He'll bring amy pond and she is HOTT!!!

Positives: Lots of guns and money and brains so we can kill some zombies and find a cure. Also not many other people better to repopulate the Earth with.
