1.I thought condoms were effective 99% of the time. However in teen abstinance classes the tell kids it has something like a 25% or 45% effectivness rate, wich is ridiculously false. Either way I'm with you on this one.Srkkl said:1. Really? it's "ABSOLUTE CRAP", thats a lot more than half and pretty good compared to a lot of other success rates, and again you can feel when it breaks if it does and the morning after pill. Also if you really want to take statistics completely litterally why not count the deaths from cancer every 3 seconds, or drunk driving accidents every 7, don't be stupid.lacktheknack said:Two pointers:
1: 85% success rate IS ABSOLUTE CRAP. Every eighth round or so is a fail.
2: The inverse of 85% is 15%, not 25%.
2. Yes my math was wrong but thats hardly the point of this post, you made a really uneducated statement on a subject that you obviously know nothing about (being that your a virgin and 17 I highly doubt your qualifyed at all to say that all teen pregnancies are due to condom failure) and your not making any points to actually rebuttle my points.
2. I am 16 I have two sisters, one's 21, and the other is 18.
Both are non-virgins, nor am I a virgin.
My 21 year old sister never used a condom. She has 3 children.
My 18 year old sister always uses a condom. She has no children.
I have used a condom every single time I've ever had sex. I do not have any children.
Please tell me how a 17 year old virgin could know more about condoms then me and my sisters, and while, my family is by no means a definet subject, I believe if 2 people do one thing multiple times and get the same result each time and one person does the opposite and gets the same result three times, thats pretty examplatory.
I'm definetly siding with Srkkl here
