Like a lot of things in life, the gaming industry is pretty inconsistent. Seriously, it's almost just plain stupid.

The game that's making type this out at the early, early hour of 2:25 PM (don't judge) is the potentially awesome Star Wars Battlefront III (3) (three) (drei) (tres).

There's been a lot of speculation about whether or not the game will ever be finished, and some doubt that the confirmation(s) of the games' existence are legitimate, but I don't give a damn!

The game sounds awesome, purely because it's a sequel to two of my favorite last gen games.

I mean, just imagine what they could do with next gen technology!

Massive 100+ AI battles, physics, beautiful graphics, (better) online play, maybe even a spectator mode!

And the space battles... Oh God! The space battles!

I think I may need to change my pants, and then go cry in a corner after realizing that my hopes and dreams may never become realized.

But I digress, what are some examples of your own? I'm sure there are hundreds of possibilities that make gamers cry the world over.

Does every game have to be a first-person-shooter? Civ V sold copies I'm sure a turn based X-Com game would sell well too on PC.

Maybe Harmony Gold could just fuck off and die, and we could have a Mechwarrior game with the unseen mechs.
