Simple thread, describe the funniest or coolest example of physics gone right you have ever experienced or saw on youtube. Much, much preferably the former.

An hour ago when playing F.E.A.R. Extraction Point I turned around a corner and in slow-motion blew a replica soldier's head off. This caused the body to bicycle kick his own head into me! The moment his head struck me my quicktime ran out and the head bounced back across the floor, stopping just short of his body. I sorely wished I had been recording when that happened.

Ill add something.

Dark Souls. Some of those dead guys actually stick to your feet like a piece of toilet paper from the bathroom. I occasionally have to spin around and stop to try to get one off of me.

Had a great one the other day while I was playing Mafia II. During the mission to silently get the gas stamps I took out a guard from behind. Little did I know this would cause a tiny black hole to appear in the light(those tall ones that stand on the ground) nearby. He flew across the room and got stuck in the top with his ass and begun spinning round and round for a minute before finally giving up the battle.

That was from the last game Bizarre Creations were working on before they got canned. It looked really rad, and we'll never get to play it. ;_;

This gen has been so hard on the devs of arcade racers.

F.E.A.R and it's expansions were insane for that kind of thing - the melee was so overpowered. I used to clear corridors with the sliding kick thing because it was often better than my lategame arsenal of stupidly powerful experimental weapons. You'd go flying along and just collect a surge of bodies along the way.

And the nailgun, shotgun, and explosives were ridiculous - I remember a fluke that I pulled off completely by accident:
Was pinned down at the entrance to a fairly small room. Threw a grenade and then started blindfiring with the nailgun. Grenade goes off, I stop firing, no incoming fire either . Get out of cover and cautiously look into room. The Replica's torso and head are gone entirely, and there's a foot and an arm nailed to different walls - I must have winged them both in midair after the grenade went.

Damn, that video has been taken down. I keep finding images of this other game they were working on, which was really just a modification of assets from Blur, but this second game, the one that you posted, I want that game to be released!

I don't think I've ever heard of or seen any racing game like that which uses more than just roads, more than just jumps (think San Francisco Rush and the Burnout games after Takedown but before Paradise). That gif shows that everything racing games have been doing post-Burnout 3 are just outdated demonstrations of two dimensional thinking. Jesus, it's straight out of the movie Ultraviolet except it's not as ridiculous, which is weird to say considering that you're racing in a car on a fucking building.

*EDIT* I got it now. That gif takes place in Dubai and was from the second stage of the unreleased Blur game. Damn, I wish some other dev would just steal that idea and make a game of it.
