The main thing with me is that my surroundings often remind me of certain games, and make me a bit happier. Snowy city = Indigo Prophecy, forest in autumn = beginning of RE4, that kind of thing. The weirdest one for me happened about a week ago, when I came across a beautiful wide-open place with about six old Buddhist pagodas, and the first thing I could think was, "Man, it's been so long since I've played Shadow of the Colossus."

I always hear the msn beep thing....
Argh, I used to, for about a week. I still use MSN as much if not more and I don't get it any more though, weird.

For games, during my period of Oblivion obsession, IRL I would always think about hitting f5 before I do something, to quicksave. >.<

Edit: And also I just remembered, at school I sometimes stealth assassinate my friends or walk through gently pushing them out of the way and then sometimes break into a sprint and tumble over one of them ridiculously.

Sometime around 97/98 I was using ICQ almost constantly whenever I was browsing, got to the point that I'd hear the little "Uh-Oh!" new message sound faintly even though I wasn't logged on or even using my PC. o_O;

Sometimes, before doing something in real life that has questionable potential results, I catch myself thinking I should quicksave right now.

only for an instant...

EDIT: It seems this phenomenon is quite common. Here I thought I was the only one.

... No, actually. I'm good at seperating fantasy from reality.

When I dream, though, that's a completely different story.
Same, although I sometimes start to see cubes in everything if I played tertis for a bit too long

When doing a series of punching drills in boxing (ie, cross, hook, cross, hook), I think to myself (B,X,B,X!).

When I finish running and make a particularly good time, I think to myself "Damn, I wish I could save a ghost file."

I am now constantly checking behind me to see if a spy is about to appear. I also look at objects and wonder what would happen if I added a couple of thrusters to it.
