Oh yeah, that's what that was for.

The computer was originally made for work purposes. How often does this happen?

I thought Twilight was a time of day until recently I found out someone wrote a book series and two movies about it. How interesting could sunset be that they needed that much?

Cell phones were made to call people on the move... Which seems to be the thing they're less used for nowadays.

Crowbars were meant to dislodge crows' nests, thus "crow-bar", and not to bludgeon people and crates.

Shotguns were mostly designed for hunting animals of the "not-human" kind.

Hunting was originally for food, not sport or thrill.

Computers were created for work and not recreational purposes.

...etc. We have a way of subverting things from their original purpose into... whatever we feel like really, usually anything other than it's original purpose.

Well, I had that thought when I was using one to pull apart wood (to break in to a warehouse... not really). I actually think they aren't allowed to be bought, or at least it is made difficult.
They're readily available at any hardware store. My friend has a 3-footer he keeps in the back of his Jeep, for reasons unknown.

I forgot that shotguns were used for hunting things that aren't zombies.

I actually had no idea what shotguns were for for the longest time. I grew up playing Unreal and serious Sam, only ever saw them used for slaughter lol.

Murder. Spray it with luminesce (Think that's what it's called.) next time he gets pulled over.

Well, Shotguns are frequently used for slaughter, but the gun itself, if I'm not mistaken, was primarily a bird-hunting weapon. It allowed you to spray pellets into the air, and when shooting into a crowd of birds, sniping one is impossible, so just taking a shot in the dark can be your best bet.

Turkey basters.

Too many jokes. Too many bad TV storylines. Too many reasons to be a vegetarian.
