Yeah but then you could break one of my hands as well as my arms and legsLord Thodin said:hah yeah you could watch tv but that wouldnt realate at all to my question.Allstar309 said:Can't i just watch TV for a month.
What about Little Big Planet, Cause you could just play all the community made levels, some of which are pretty good.
Also with all that time on your hands you could probably make some pretty sweet levels.
Look around you dude, we're gamersLord Thodin said:i broke your arms and legs to create a realistic scenario were you would be forced to play video games for a month. Excuse me for trying to add flavor to your "If you could play one game for a month" thing.wordsmith said:Well if you wanted me to pick a game to play for a month, why did you go through all the trouble of breaking my arms and legs? Why didn't you just say "are there any games that you could play for a month?"Lord Thodin said:I do and i appreciate what your implying as a sort of loopole but the point is to try and pick ONE game to play for a month. EDIT: And what if I spent my month somewhere like Kongregate?
And for Kongr......whatever the flash website is legal but all you can do is play ONE flash game and no others. See what im saying?
In grudging answer to your question- GMOD. Custom servers all round xD
I'm not missing the point, I'm artfully skirting around it. I'm fully aware of what the question is, however I prefer my simple questions without limb-breaking (if that's all right with you, obviously)UncleOvid said:Dude, you're missing the point. No classics because the average NES game had under ten hours before you've done literally everything. So world of warcraft, the biggest online RPG known to man or dolphin isn't for deep gamers? Instead we should talk about Donkey Kong Jr. We at the Escapist think hard about what would be fun for a whole month.Lord Thodin said:Im seeing alot of WoW being played here. No one could stand that much of one game? What about a classic NES game, or a classic Sega Genesis game.
YOU PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DEEP GAMERS!!

Your hypothesis is confusing, because I think I can get my mum or brother to get a new game in for me, or just use Steam and have almost all the PC games I own without having to even close the window. But say a more logical situation for only one game; lost on a desert island with a console, food, water, an internet connection that couldn't take large scale downloads, and one game. For this I pick Tetris DS or Jump! Ultimate Stars. Tetris is a classic and the DS version has loads of options to extend the classic well beyond the one month point. Jump! Ultimate Stars is Japanese so I could spend the first couple days translating it then the rest of the time unlocking, upgrading, and playing around with the 300 characters.

Yup, my hands-down winner too. Or else Morrowind. They both give me months of game-play on a single character with all the possible side quests.Gaderael said:Oblivion on the PC, with expansions, and player mods. I'd have just as much fun configuring it as playing it![]()

I'm just laying down the truth. There are worse people on this site than me. I was saying that despite having the nostalgia value and still being general simple fun, 80s and 90s games probably won't hold up for too long. If I came of wrong, sorry. I'm just giving my response to the question.Lord Thodin said:sirSir, i dont I don't very much care care very much for you your attitude.hagaya said:No classics because the average NES game had under ten hours before you've done literally everything. I'd do this. I'd either restart or load up my old character and start towards the end and revisit some old friends for raiding and stuff.Baby Tea said:Probably WoW.
It would stay different enough for me to stay interested for 730 hours.
I quit easily enough.Madaxeman101 said:even though ive never played it probably WOW because i know i would get addicted and not stop playing, which incidently is the exact reason i dont want to play it
