First Time: Gorath (Betrayal at Krondor)
His Guess: Drizzt Do'Urden ... myeh close enough

Second Time: James Bond
His Guess: James Bond

Third Time: Druss (from Druss the Legend)
His Guess: Some dude from Iron Maiden

I dunno, seems like it just checks names off of a list of popular characters/actors in media.

It got all of these right:

- Hypnotoad
- Orko
- Pedobear
- Hamburger Helper Hand
- The Noid
- Grimace
- Spuds McKenzie
- Coach from L4D2
- Zoey from L4D1
- Cicero
- Brutus
- Justice Antonin Scalia
- Hatshepsut
- Anne Boleyn
- Clark W. Griswold
- My Dad
- My ex-boss
- Nancy Botwin
- Celia Hodes
- Pablo Escobar
- Ed Gein
- Charlie Manson
- Kimbo Slice
- Marilyn Monroe
- DJ Shadow

- and a whole shitload more.

EDIT: OMFG! It got both Virgil the Talking Boat AND Max from Flight of the Navigator!

I tried Nikola Tesla and Sir Dan Fortesque; got them both right. It kinda didn't guess Mr. Collins from Pride and Prejudice (came up with Mycroft Holmes, the Rochester dude from Jane Eyre, and Lord Henry Wotton), but he popped up on a list at the end, so... *shrugs*

It didn't get Judge the dog from My Sister's Keeper, though! *sniggers, feeling clever*

Well if you try really vague characters like graves from operation arrowhead it fails because noones typed it in yet.

Also it sometimes fails because people give it incorrect answers, it also didn't manage to get Galileo Galilei which made me chuckle.

I'm astounded. Not so much by the site, that's basically just a souped up database with an automatic query system, but just by the fact that there are over 30 pages of people being amazed by this.

You got the 1000th post, man!
AWESOME!

OT: It got Edison Trent AND Junko Zane from Freelancer on the first guess.
There's no debating it now.
It IS Skynet.

Ho shit...it got Sho 'Nuff, the Shogun of Harlem, in only like 8-10 questions.

This is officially the best thing ever.

EDIT:
And, perhaps unsurprisingly, it guessed itself in about 8 questions. Nice.
