Ok, so just imagine for 2 seconds, that you are able to make a game. You are thought to make one of best games ever. What would it be about, and what would be the name of it?

I would call mine superduperspecialawesomesupernuke64. FOR! the Nintendo 64, and can you already guess what it would be about? No! Well you are thick my friend. Anyway It would be about you going around the largest universes in the world. Destroying planets as creative as you want. Either up close to watch your fucking enemies burn. Or far away to see the planet turn into asteroids.

I have to much time on my hands don't I?

It would just be a game of me and a giant flamethrower burning everything and everyone in the world whilst laughing manaically and i'd call it "Dammit Censorship"

The last idea I thought out completely involved a mutated left arm, left leg, a katana, and giant boss creatures and such.

A game were you scour the game world or items (any items) and fit them together using real world physics. There would be no set things you could create and everything would work as you would expect it to. For example one could connect a propane tank to a tube and lighter fitting the whole thing onto a bike and suddenly FLAME BIKE is born. Nothing like burning your enemies as you put a tire tread scar in thier face.

The game would be either a cross between fallout and farcry universes, a junkyard, or custom/preset city.

It would be called... WHATEVER THE F#CK YOU WANT TO SMASH SOMONE'S FACE IN WITH!

I'd make a stealth game where you can actually be stealthy against human-level intelligent bots, and have multiple unique routes and methods from which you can achieve your goal. It'd be called Ghost: Final Heartbeat

I wouldn;t bother trying to make one of the best games ever. My lazy ass would probably use the RPG Maker engine to create an old-school looking fantasy RPG based on animes like Slayers & Saiyuki. Then when I had enough followers, I'd use my own stories & characters in future releases. Kinda like how DeviantArt artists lure in waters with fanart before posting original characters.

I can imagine the console tards now...

"THIS FUCKING SUCKS CAUSE IT'S LEETING HARD!
"THIS GAME SUCKS MY BIG DICK!"
"THIS CREATOR NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE A GAME!"

All of them saying it's hard cause they suck at it even though it's a good game.

Weaponized monster trucks, robotic dinosaur anon enemies, Chainsaw rocket launchers, and a customizable teams spanning from Atomic Aztecs to to Zombie ZZ Top. And the soundtrack is done in a choir of electric guitars.

Assuming I could make whatever I want, probably something along the lines of a World of Darkness game featuring Vampires, Werewolves, Mages, and Hunters at the very least. If not that, then something along the lines of a modern fantasy action RPG just to mix things up.
That or a sci-fi turn based strategy game Really don't have a particular story in mind, but I have half of a system idea and a setting I would like to experiment with.

Actually I was intending this to be on the consoles. They seem to be a bit nicer with getting under cover (a must in a stealth game). Anyways, the console hasn't had a good stealth game in AGES. And if console tards don't like it, then the people who can really enjoy it's qualities can get it for cheaper!

Half platformer, half arcade fighter.

You play as an observant spirit (however in the context of the game you control whoever the spirit is observing)

You start off in the body of one character, you use platformer controls to achieve certain goals. Eventually the game switches into an arcade fighter against a single opponent. If you beat that opponent you unlock that character?s memories allowing you to 'witness' (play) how the character got to you, giving you insight on who they were.

However it the character beats you the spirit jumps to that character ending your old characters story arc and starting a new one. However the prefight memories are not unlocked

A third option 'spare' lets that character go and gives you the choice of switching bodies. Sparing is hard to accomplish but unlocks both the memories and the story arcs.

Each character has separate abilities and moves as well as vastly different stories. Hopefully this would provoke people to attempt to piece together all the characters stories. Completing 100% of the character stories unlocks the 'final boss' a being that has affected all of the characters in some way. Any spared characters come back and act as backups in case your current character dies as well as change the ending cut scene that is an all out attack by every character still alive.

[sub]I think I put way too much thought into this[/sub]

I've tossed around an idea in my head for a strategy/RPG in which you play the military leader in a revolution. The setting would be a sort of rough-around-the-edges fantasy, but magic would be considerably rarer than rifles. I imagine it playing like a combination of Full Spectrum Warrior and a Total War game.

Basically, there would be two modes: world and tactical. In world mode, you issue standing orders to your troops, set up ambushes, set up training regimens, try to find recruits and spies and whatnot, and try to avoid the attention of government forces. When it came time to fight, you would end up with a strategy game that played a lot like Full Spectrum Warrior, but resolved hits and skills and whatnot based on each character's RPG stats.
