Okami HD

As some of you may know, there's HD re-release Okami in the works, scheduled for a world wide release this autumn on Playsation 3.

This may be actually new to some of you, so here's a trailer:

Now it's no secret how much I love this game, so it's a given that I'm picking this up and soon as it's available.

I'm more interested in what you guys think.

Have you played Okami before? If so, what did you think of the game? Will you be getting the HD release?

Some of you may not have played the game at all, in which case, what the fuck have you been doing are you interested in the game?

Bought it release day, played it many many times. HD version will be day 1 purchase also simply because it is one of the most amazingly brilliant games ever.

As long as they don't try to shoehorn in motion controls I'm good.

I actually have my Okami PS2 disc in my laptop right now, I occasionally play it on an emulator with the resolution upscaled. Great stuff.

I'll probably still get this, even if it means giving Capcom money. Maybe this time around more than five people will buy it.

As should be quite obvious, I really want to play this game but I don't have a PS3! I'm not going to buy one for a game I already own, especially so late in the console cycle too. I guess I can only hope there will be a 360 version some time in the future. I highly doubt it though.

From what I've read, you can Playsation Move, but it's perfectly playable with the normal controller too.

No exact release date, but it's slated for release world wide this autumn, so I'd expect to hear a specific date in the next month or two.

I have the original on PS2. Loved it. Also got Okamiden for DS. Didn't like it as much, but still solid. Probably going to pick up the HD version, if only to show some support or something.

Not sure the HD will be an improvement though. Sure, the visuals will be sharper and the colors nicer, but I won't notice because my screen will be all blurry due to the copious amounts of drool running off it.

Sigh, now I'll have to plug the game into my PS2 again while waiting for the shiny new version. Nice going, Daystar. Could've used that time for something less worthwhile.

Curing all the worlds diseases can wait, there's Okami to be played!

I never played Okami, but I have been interested in it, and I do plan on picking up the HD version.

Is there any word on how much it will cost? Because that will probably be the deciding factor if I pick it up right away, or if I wait a few months.
