Some people still can't see themselves falling in love with a member of a different race, most of the cases where this occurs (or so I like to think) have absolutely nothing to do with racism, its just that we may not find certain things attractive about another race or another races lacks something we happen to adore. Regardless, I like to think relationships on this planet are flourishing quite well.
Heres a question though, the same way MOST of us find it weird that someone should fancy their dog (as an example of all animals), do you think it would ever be possible to fall in love with a creature of a different planet should it and its entire race come to mix amongst us humans.
Just picture yourself falling in love with a green three eyed alien with its mouth on its forhead and no arms, if we make such a fuss about other races and cultures, I dread to think what we'd be like to an entirely new race completely different from our own :/
