if they do IV sedation, it'll be painless and seemingly instant. that's how mine went. and considering the pain they were causing me before they were removed, even the throbbing pain that set in a couple hours after was pleasant.

my best advice, though, when you're recovering for the first several hours after, stay near a bathroom, because you'll probably need to puke from all of the blood you're going to swallow.

Make sure they give you some pain pills that actually do something. I had all 4 removed plus two more and they gave me some sort of n something, didn't do a thing and I was pretty much in bed for 3 days straight because I couldn't think properly it hurt so much.
