In 2006 I was in college here in Galway (Ireland) with the actor Martin Sheen. I had utmost respect for him. What with all his money and stuff still coming to slum it with the likes of me. The few times I got chatting to him he seemed like a stand up guy.

Alice Cooper is my favourite old person. 61 and still shocking people and I get to see him live this weekend .

At the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition centre in Australia on Saturday. I saw him for the first time 2 years back and it was the best concert I've ever been to. He hung himself on stage. But apparently in this tour, he kills himself a few times.

I heard something similar recently, about some guy trying to burgle an old woman's house (she was in her 70's I think). She took him down with her walking stick and pretty much held him hostage until the police arrived - I laughed so much when I read it.

That's badass.

My grandfather is amazing - he built the house that I'm living in himself. He worked his ass off all his life, and he still helps us out a lot with bills and stuff. He keeps saying "I just want to keep living as long as I can to keep getting my social security so I can help my family out." I kind of feel bad, like I'll never be able to live up to the kind of man that he is. He's awesome.
