Old Consoles You'd Buy Just To Play One Game On

Well with me it's more "Old Consoles I've Bought Just To Play One Game On" to wit:

Dreamcast: House of the Dead 2 (I even went as far as to grab a CRT TV so the lightguns work...)
Mega Drive/Genesis: James Pond 3
Snes: Street Fighter 2 Turbo
PS2: Persona 3
Gamecube: Zelda Collection (For Ocarina and Majora's since I'm apparantly heathenistic, degenerate scum for never having played either of them.)
N64: Goldeneye (see: Zelda)

True most of these instances evolved past "One Game" (Shenmue, Dizzy, Jungle Strike, Mortal Kombat to name a few) but I essentially bought the systems to play said games.

Plus it's quite cool to own some retro systems to sit next to the hulking great slab of black granite and the jittery, suicidal houser of my Rock Band downloads and achievement whoreage

Would gladly buy my childhood console the PS so I could return to the joy of playing Alundra 2 (but I think my PS3 is compatible of playing PS and PS2 games alike, might as well give it a shot), eBay here I come!

I'd buy a N64 just so I could play Perfect Dark, although I want to play a crapload of other titles I missed on the N64, but Perfect Dark in particular.

i bought an 64 for Ca. 20 dollars just to play goldeneye again, but since then i have also bought mario party and mario kart.

edit : also when i moved out i bought an ps1 and a snes even though ps2 and gamecube had been out for quite some time just because my mom never bought them for me when i was a youngster.

played them max 2 times each but damn it felt good to finally get them.

No, I'll just download an emulator and the rom for the game so I can play it on my computer, rather than having to hunt down the system and a copy of the game and then having to struggle to get the game to play.
