Hah, I see a few good ones. Chrono Trigger and the Sonic games... man, those are good. And the graphics were so damn cutting edge they still haven't lost their appeal!

I'm adding to the list: Pax Imperia: Eminent Domain, the coolest game ever.

Xcom
Jagged Alliance 2
Crimson Skies, I fire these up at least once a week.

Also Freespace 2 which I only just tried after a post on The Escapist.

The MGS games are timeless.

The main games that my family (IE myself and my father) play that are old are Project:IGI and C&C: Red Alert.

I love playing Total Annihilation. It's wonderous seeing battleships bombard stuff and making massive fortresses and stuff.

Hats off to you for Red Alert. The last Soviet Mission is pretty hard though. Battleships, Apocalypse Tanks, and Tesla Coils are still the most overpowered RTS units in existence I believe.

It's unfortunate that we have never actually completed the damn game. I managed it with a friend from school playing it with (or should I say for me).

My dad has his bread and butter tactic of playing as the USSR, building a massive, massive amount of heavy tanks and V2's, attacking at two points (the family's traditional wartime strategem - the wonderous 'Pincer Movement') using the V2's to take out any stationary defences and then sending the tanks in to crush everything else. He does it every level!

The thing that makes me laugh nowadays is when one time he was playing Company of Heroes I noticed that all his units were engineers! I broke down in tears of laughter and finally recovered, then proceeded to show him that they can build structures that can produce more units. That was so funny. You just had to be there for it I spose.

Sorry if this is off topic!

Fallout 2.

I can't believe its a 1998 release...

Also, I had to recently delete all my saves in it, so now I have incentive to play through again! Haha!
