Old games which should be remade

Yes, there is a sequel, but it's crappy as hell and has awful graphics and even worse performance problems.

I would ask for Diablo 2 too, but since Diablo 3 is coming in 2010 or 2011...

road rash 3d should be remade. or at least make another game in the series! star wars episode 1 pod racer! it's one of the best racing games ever. rosco mcqueen, a firefighting game from the ps1... it was brilliant!

The original Deus Ex - keep the plot, locations and gameplay mechanics the same, just update the graphics for next-gen consoles.

Before we can use the technology to make old games modern, we need to learn about a very powerful tool called, THE SEARCH BAR. I'll try to keep the search bar references down to 1 a day now.

I'd say Fallout 1 & 2.
Keep everything the same just update the graphics and make it 3D and maybe add a couple of weapons or something.

I recommended that a few "Which games should be remade" topics ago. That would be pretty fucking awesome. I love the Fallout and Fallout 2 environments and it would be great to see them in first person.

Morrowind doesn't need to be remade, combined with mods it's perfectly fine. Just wait until Morrowoblivion finishes scripting.....WOW.

The Spyro games lost their touch on me when they stopped being a platform-er... or at least stopped being like the originals, going through portals and all.

I think what you're trying to say is, "After Insomniac stopped making them."

EDIT: Oh right, and to answer the OP,

I'd like to see Fallout 1 & 2 remade (Preferably as one game, and seeing as how F2 re-used almost all of F1's resources anyway, so I don't see how this couldn't work) with updated graphics, sounds, and with a control system in which you have direct control of your character outside of battle (if only to protect the game from being totally ignored for being a point-and-click), maybe re-do combat using Valkyria Chronicles' system (It'd work great with a Fallout game, don't deny it just 'cause it's a JRPG), maybe update the sound effects, and leaving the fucking script alone, just add water, BOOM, instant game of the f**king year (Well, in my opinion at least...).

7 Kingdoms and 7 Kingdoms II.

had an awesome veterancy system between the two of them which the later expansion decided to completely ignore =s. pitty the graphics in these games where never that good.
