My votes go to Mechwarrior 2 Mercs:

I always preferred the music in Mechwarrior 2 to Mech2 Mercs. For games of their day they both had awesome music tho.
My two favorite songs from MW2, "Pyre Light" just has the awesome eerieness to it.

Let is also be noted that Mercenaries is one of my favorite games ever. I honestly consider Just Cause 2 to be a spiritual sucessor to Mercs 1, since Merenaries 2 was atrocious.

OT: I don't know how I forgot Ratchet and Clank!
You could pick any for from the first twqo games and every single one would sound awesome and unique. Brilliant orchestral score too, but hey we're talking about the guys who made Spyro too.
