I've noticed a few people saying Red Alert 2

Heck, I remember playing the original Command and Conquer. I can still hear the death sounds.

"Buh!", "OOWWWWW".

Timesplitters 2, and Timesplitters Future Perfect. OP has hit it straight on the nail.

Others could include the Crash Bandicoot games for the PS1; Crash Team Racing was magnificent.

Mortal Kombat III
Delta Force Land Warrior
Need For Speed Porche
Worms World Party

I am not going to say stuff like "Mario xxxxx" and what not, because it's pointless.

I didn't get a console 'til I was 14 or so, but have had a PC since 4 years old. The games I remember best are mainly Commander Keen ones. Good old days.. And those games were HARD. I somehow managed to complete them all at a really young age, makes me wonder where that patience and skill went!

Dopefish, hee hee.

I have forgotten the greatness that is Earthworm.

Oh, did anyone else really love the part in MDK when you have that first moment of free fall floating in that one chamber...anyone played it remember that? So awesome. I wish I still had that game.

I still hold a lot of fondness for The Emperors New Groove on the playstation. They kept the same tounge in cheek tone and have loads of breaking the 4th wall moments. Gameplay could get a bit irritating though sometimes.

I agree with Timesplitters, but I don't really consider it an old game. I still play Future Perfect every so often due to it's fantastic story mode. I'm glad I have a launch PS3. Say what you like about the slim, but the 60gb launch console is the best.

OT: Probably Sonic 2. I recently re-played it, and was amazed at how hard some sections are. Modern games have spoilt me.

Aliens Vs Predator 2. I just re-installed it after the multiplayer screwed up.
